Important

it does have a bunch of miles, but still runs like a top. I have a thing where I trade every 2 yers on avg, and I really wanted a diesel again. :D

North Texas Truck Stop

Thats about how long I keep a truck...maybe less if the 450 sells anytime soon...

Whats scary is that to downsize and save money I am considering an 06 era chevy...and better fuel economy...

wtf seanR, black letters?

loser.

I'm keeping my Tahoe forever. another year it'll be mine and I'm going to love the lack of payments. Maybe a motorhome payment will take it's place.

Byron, yes and yes. I am planning on keeping the one off my 2500 and putting it on the 3500. They replaced it with a brand new one a few months back due to faulty powder coating and it started peeling. They just said "bring it in and we will give ya a new one installed"....how can ya argue with that!?!?!

We hit the Mega Millions Power Ball last night!
Honest!

So does that mean you're gonna buy another jeep? :roflmao:

I won tickets in Vegas to a topless show on my honeymoon...Camille traded them to some kid for tickets to a magic show....

I'm positive you owe me money for something. Let me look in my records here....

I would've stuck with titties.

I know a chevy...also considering 02/03 7.3 Fords...if I can get a decent interest rate...

Tyler that truck you are buying, if its the 03 I saw on their site...115k isn't a boatload of miles...over 200k is a lot of miles...over 300k is more like a boatload...I see that era diesels around here all the time with twice the miles as that 03 you are buying for almost the same as the internet price on that truck.

I swear, either I am only intermittently getting the thread-subscription e-mails for this thread, or I am just spacing it, seems like I'll forget about this thread for days and then it takes me 15 minutes to catch up.

BFGoodrich has agreed to sponsor Rosco Racin with a tire contribution!!!

Congrats to you guys! BFG has been awesome about supporting all sorts of off-road racing and other competitions. And I recently found out that Michelin owns BFG, so my two favorite tire companies are really the same.

thinking about an 03-04.

What year did that black one end up being then? An late 04 will at least get you the LLY, with the external injectors which are easier to replace when/if they fail. I did a lot of research on this when I was looking. But it looks like I'm stuck with the Ford for a while.

it is an 03 w/ the LB7. If/when the time comes it will be a big project to replace the injectors, but seanR hooked me up with an excellent link on getting it done.

mac, i didnt think the miles seemed too bad for a diesel. My gasser 6.0 has a load of miles for what it is..187K and still runs like a top.

Cheese "already thinking programmer and exhaust" Man
