Had turkey day last Sunday. Worked last night, get to work for triple time tonight. Grace worked this afternoon. I got up when I wanted to. I did some house chores and got the newly rebuilt alternator in the xjpopcanbuggy...a good day!

Its sealed but I don't know how well it would hold up on its side. And yeah the odyssey is $350+. I got the 34/78 battery for mine because I was told on the forum it'd fit. I had to cut a slot in the battery tray to get it to fit. I'm sure you can get it to fit since yours isn't under the hood.

I love my family thxgiving. I guess we are all cut from the same mold and what I do is not a big surprise to anyone. Considering my parents and I showed up to the restaurant super early and sat at the bar before anyone showed up. Yet it was a cousin that dumped her wine all over the table later in the meal.

Gotta love family. Enjoy it while you can. My Gpa turns 91 today and looking at him you have no idea. Just wish I saw them more than once a year.

During these next few weeks make sure you give your relatives that extra squeeze because you don't know the next time you'll see them.

We ate dinner at the mall at Chick-Fil-A because we never get to eat anywhere but the 24 hr Arbys on the thirds. Its was odd at 230am because looking at the mall you would've thought it was 230pm.

this shit is just stupid...I understand saving a few $$, but if most if these people actually figured in the "true cost" involved with these tremendous savings they think they are getting, it is a wash. Take the average income of 15-20 bucks per hour, and then factor in taking the 8 hour day off work and that is approx a cost of $160 plus eating breakfast and lunch out and then the added gas for sitting in traffic half the day....easily pushing $200 before any savings are even accounted for. Now if it is a vacation day someone is taking, yeah they might get paid to be off, but who in their right mind wants to spend a vacation day that way. Yes I have a kid, yes I want them to have a good Christmas, but I work hard throughout the year so I dont have to partake in this madness and I will shop at my leisure. I am going to work today and will probably not see another human until I leave at 4:00 bc everyone thinks we are closed today...which is fine with me.

My wife went out at 11:00 last night filled her cart till around 12 when the sales started she said every one there was friendly and helping each other out... this wasn't the super door buster deals though id imagine all the friendly people wouldn't be that way

she was thinking of going out at 5:00am for the door buster sale till the alarm went off this morning at 4:30 she will proably unload the kids on some one and head to Menard's because they got a couple good sales going on for some gifts that we were gonna look for any way

Which "Red Rocket" are you referring to? I have put a lot of work into it the past few days, I have the front bumper finally finished and painted, I am going to install it this afternoon when I get off work. I sheared off the bolts in the steering box so I had to remove it and then I shattered the aluminum spacer as well, so I m going to fab up another metal spacer plate like I did on Goldie. Should be all back together tonight and working on the rear bumper. I also spun off both power steering lines due to them being seized in the sleeves, so I have to replace the LP side since I had a new HP side already in my parts storage. Just throw in a front drive shaft and it is winter ready...and some license plates I guess

EXACTLY!!!! not to sound like an ass, but if I want something (within reason) I usually just buy it myself. Having extended/split familes and all the driving that we have to do and no one ever drives to our place..I get get sick of the shit. Last I checked the highways ran both ways..at least they do for us since we are always the ones traveling. The whole "we need to get the step nephews grilfirends cousin sisters left handed lesian eskimo midgets mother" a present so they dont think badly of us..piss on that, let them think what they want..I could care less...if I did not have a child I was raising and making a good impression upon, I would go off the handle on 90% of the family and get so piss wasted drunk I would barf intentionally on someone...probably a projectile vomiting spree that would cover most the people in the room.

x2. We spent this Thanksgiving at home since I had to work, we will probably do the same at Christmas. It was the best Thanksgiving we have had as a family; no running around trying to see 14 people in one day. I hate that. Christmas has become all about the gifts; my co workers at the part time gig are all bragging about how much they have spent so far on their kids, and then turn their noses up at me when I say Kim is making most of the kids' presents and the remainder are coming from Goodwill or Walmart.
