Alright MWC peps, I need to buy a battery for the xjpopcanbuggy. The current yellow top optima only lasted 4 years, my previous one lasted 7 years. I'm looking for opinions. Yellow top? Red top? Optima? Whatelse is out there? Any of the vendors that support

I have a Diehard platinum in my jeep. Its got 880CCA and is actually a rebadged odyssey for about half the price. It also has a 4 year free replacement/8 year prorated warranty. Its an AGM battery but its not spiral cell like an optima. The sucker is HEAVY too. I paid around $190 after tax.

Hunted morning and evening today. Saw two little spike bucks, but nothing I was going to shoot. The second one was grazing for about 5 minutes, since I wasn't going to shoot him I took a few pictures instead.

I've had good luck w Red Tops. Yellows are real expensive. Don't buy NAPA brand, I tried their 6 pack Optima knock off and I went through 3 of them under warranty.

try your local interstate store. ours in mokena il will sell the blem optimas for 70. they carry a 30 day warranty.

So yeah, I'm so pissed right now. There are now 7 people staying at my house tonight that I had no clue were coming. Thanks to my roommate I didn't want(long story) his family from southeastern KY are at my house. Now I have to hear a bunch crazy hillbillies(think deliverance with a couple more teeth) talk about stupid shit.........ok rant off. Happy Thanksgiving all! :cheers:

that does look sweet Wade. I just finished up the front bumper I was building for "Project Red Rocket" last night and layed a coat of primer on it. I hope it has cured well enough I can lay paint this afternoon. Your MJ is so bad ass, I wish I was not half sasquatch so I could fit in one.

got the jeep all together. put the battery in, turned the key and everything went out. no lights, door dinger, no crank, nothin. i think i got a loose ground somewhere. everything comes on its just when i go to crank it does everything go out

and if you paid 190 your telling me that the odyssey is almost 400 bucks? i'll buy another optima for a 170 to 190 depending on red top or yellow top...
is the standard jeep optima size the group 34/78?
