Important

Good timing on the ricer talk, I've got my buddy's Tercel back in my garage to fix up a leaking axle shaft seal. Ever since I swapped the 3E-E for a 5E-FE GTR 4ZE WTF motor, it really screams. Might have to get some sweet footage of it, it will chirp the tires in second!

I think I would whip this thing for the next few months, but I've been spoiled with 4x4 in the winter... can't give it up now.

yeah sometimes I get that, I just double clutch it and then it's cool. I gotta watch out for my intake popping off though, cause I got too much NAUS brah.

NAWWWSSSSS!!!!!

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo turdcel!

Okay, I have to admit, I saw the videos of the Festivas with the 1.8L turbo Mazda engines, and I immediately checked CL.

I'm pulling a macgyvr here (tech relevant to the MWC area)- For you guys running a trans cooler (and who drive your Jeep year round), are you running it in series with the in-rad cooler, or bypassing it? Noticed my OE lines at the lower rad (the QD) fitting are wet, and I need to either replace, or reroute/bypass the in-rad cooler with soft lines. Thought I'd ask here, since a few of you have the same weather to deal with.

Back to the topic of late 70's fords, too much talk of little front wheel drive trash

Current progress on the axles. I know, I'll make a real build thread some year but till then I might as well try to move up from 80th or whatever place I am in this thread. The rest of the axles will be painted black once everythings welded (truss, link mounts, and track bar mount still need welded), except for the 9" center section and calipers, which will be painted red. Same red as my jeep, I think it'll look pretty good.

And more stuff from UPS today, full bearing sets, d44 5.13 gears, and a viair 110/145 psi sealed pressure switch. The ARB I got the other day is going in the front, and I have a detroit for the 9"

I run mine in series with the radiator.

I also don't have temp gauges on it, so I have no clue on exact temps.

This is how did it in the tow pig. It's what tha hayden directions said to do.

No time like the present to install one, you'll have it all apart anyway

I've got 78 F axles in my Jeep.

Did I mention my Aspire gets 40 mpg?

Just 40? You must beat on it hard. I drive mine like a race car and get 43.
