All is right with the world....a dodge towing a ford around.

The dodge got about 12 mpg towing the 1975 F-250 Highboy with a 450 big block and 38s around. Not too shabby.

Here's what my buddy traded for +$700
It is a 79 (i believe) F-150 6x4 with rear airbags, flatbed, new interior, etc. (definitley made a good trade for this)
His plans at the moment are to possibly make it a 6x6 and drop in a powerstroke and turn it into his tow rig for his older broncos.

how about some more pics of her..and your chicks from Satrday night....we are still waiting.....:D

Packers win! But way too close for comfort.

Because we have enough Minnesota folks in the area the bar was giving shots for every Packer and Viking TD.

Nice rigs btw!

Powerstroke? He does know he can get a Cummins/Allison out of a school bus right? I believe someone even makes engine mounts for the 70's Fords. Wish I could afford to get my dads '78 and do the swap. I think he got a good deal on the new truck for sure. I know I bag on Fords a lot but I really like that era of Ford truck.

Attended a Halloween party Saturday night and stayed in the camper...

Ummmm...... I'd be sorta concerned about the frame in an F-150. Even with the extra axle & brakes, frames in half tons are quite a bit lighter than three quarter and one tons. And ya did say broncos, as in more than one.

In a late 70's Ford I wouldn't be too concerned with the frame unless it was rusty...

Yep, this frame is pure beef, there is almost no rust on this thing either. Some light bubbles on the inner door jamb but other then that nothing at all. The rear axle is just a "floater" for now, but the old owners tied in everything extremely well and the air bag system is also designed very well.

Aaron, a cummins does not belong in a ford. Even I could tell you that! This guy and his entire family is a ford family, so putting anything but a powerstroke in this thing would be sacreligious.

..........but it would also be better.....just sayin' :D

If my PSD ever gives out, I would have to at least consider going to a 6BT instead of replacing it with another 7.3. Whether it belongs there, or not.

I don't really feel much engine brand loyalty, since Ford has been using International all these years.

my 77 f250 highboy WILL have a cummins in it before I die. Just because newer fords use international motors doesnt mean they belong there!
