Haven't had very good luck. The van is giving us fits.........sending unit for the float in the fuel tank is shot. Today the air conditioning decided to take a dump on us!

I was planning on hitting the Crawl in July but, these van repairs are going to use that money and then some.

We're closer to Norfork Lake than any other. Nice place.
Next time: I'm bringing my fly rod.

Sending units are not hard to change if that is the problem... The biggest problem is getting the rear end of the van high enough to get a fat guy under there to work. With our Chryco kid hauler, the tank is plastic and weighed less than 40 lbs. once I got it out.

I sure do like rummage sales. Picked up a set of these yesterday for DIRT cheap with 275/55/17 tires with 3/4 tread. Sure do look nice on the wifes jeep.

Those will be her wheeling tires and rims. They are brand new.

well, im flying out to visit my mom and sis. and i just so happen got a 2dr out there for free. id drive anything 26hrs if it was free. this just happen to be a really nice 2dr xj. :yelclap:


the hard part will be trying to sell my 4dr after i swap the 4wd into the new 2dr. anybody want a 2wd 4dr 5sp xj with 230000mi and covered in trail rash? lol

it is a free jeep! people in az are stupid rich and dont like older cars. some construction company gave it to my mom bc it needed a water pump and radiator. she fixed it herself and has driven it the last year. she got another car now she dont want the jeep. so i got a free xj. im going to compensate for the radiator and water pump though. pg 1175 i posted a pic in this thread of it.

I ordered a set of Bilsteins from ShockWarehouse about 3 weeks ago. After 4-5 days, they told me they were backordered until June 5th. E-mailed them today and now it's until June 30th.

Come on... be honest with me about the date, or at least keep me updated on when you're going to ship so I don't have to keep asking...

I went through the same ting w/ Ballistic..it was "yeah, those rod ends will be here in a day or two and then ship out" ...that was on May 20th and I just received notice this weekend of them finally shipping. I called a few times and it was the same story.."should be here tomorrow"......I assume my credit card was billed as soon as the order was placed though...

Yea of course... they want the money up-front but will take their time building and shipping. Luckily the shock place hasn't charged me yet, but I noticed Aussie had no problem charging me for a locker and then taking two weeks to get it sent out.

Should be here today though.
