hmmm....I guess I could invite her to fly in for the event...and she could teach ya how to wheel :D She as the first Jeep owner in our family...88YJ back in the day and she would drive the hell out of it!!

I want to see pics of this sister before I commit to attending.

This warm weather shit sucks!!! I want my winter back NOW!!!!! Next week isn't looking any better for Memorial weekend. Possible upper 80's or lower 90's. NOT MY THANG!!!!!

I need some dry weather..it has been to wet to even got the disk out of the shed. I have about 300 acres of beans to plant and just want to get them in the ground!! I screwed up and rented another 150 acres a few weeks ao to put beans on and now I am thinking that I may have made a bad choice...and I did not get insurance on that piece either..no planting=no income from that pice and lost rent money :gee:

It rained Sunday through Thursday last week, and has been very nice weather since. I am still seeing corn planters rolling, though, I'd have thought they'd have been done by now.

I would like the added security of a GN.

what does this mean?

And I've pulled both GN and bumper pull and I think that the bumper pull is more predictable when turning...I mean I haven't hit a fire hydrant with one yet...also you'd be suprised what tight confinds you can get a bumper pull, btw my 34ft and rosco's 30ft enclosed they have made some tight gas stations.

I have all my corn in as of about 2 weeks ago thank goodness. 95% of all the beans planted in my reigion are a total loss and have to be replanted..excessive moisture and rotted seed :( We decided to hold off and are glad we did. I planted more corn acres this year on a whim and I am praying it was the right thing to do...but so far it is looking like it was.

On a good note, I ordered my new QA1's, rod inserts and DOM this morning from Ballistic...should have it by next week soemtime..and I also ordered new ball joints for the turdy as well...going to put new knuckles on it while I am redoing the steering.....The stiffeys are about complete and I hope to work on the cage a bit over the next few evenings...but JR needs me to weld on his new shock hoops on his YJ and he pays in beer...really large quantities of beer..and it is pretty good and not in a can!! :D

Dad has a 2001 Grand Cherokee. I would like to get him a set of tow hooks for Father's day, any recommendations?

I think there is a dude that could weld some on for him...I will see if I can find his number in the WF thread :D

Yup..... planting too early in conditions like this is a temptation, as well as a big risk. At least with field crops, you can hold off on planting to get past early bad weather. Kind of hard to hold off blossom for orchard crops.

I hear ya Jeff, I have 12 pallets of beans sitting in the shed and if they dont get planted they go back to the dealer...on orchard crops there is no "say" when "go time" is....damn, this is going to drive me to drinking already today... :D

Nice camper I have the twin. Been slowly redoing mine. I paid $600 for mine., but it needs some work. It tows like a dream behind the XJ.

We upgraded our camping setup to a Jayco ourselves last week. A little different than Tyler's, but we can't fit the Duggar family in a truck camper.

I was even going to say "courtesy of Pirate." Not at all surprised that you recognized it. Just re-read through that whole "camper with trailer" thread again. And then the Mobile Marriott thread.

Thats another one of my daily forums that I visit...

I guess a better word would have been "safety" instead of security. Having 14,000#s hanging of your rear bumper isn't nearly as safe has having 14,000#s sitting over your rear axle.
