I hate installing Rock rails. Maybe it is because I was working with a budjet and what not but installing used rails can be a PIA. No fault of the Cheeseman I am sure they were great on his truck and came off easy but they have been slammed on and tweaked some due to flexing. It takes a lot of finesse to get used ones on. But it is done 8 hours later lol.

Trust me Rob, Putting on new ones is just as difficult! The holes aren't ever right where you need them when you drill! :soapbox:

they were used when I bought them and were a royal biatch to get on my rig too. The front hole was cut out by the prior owner to clear some mounts he had on his rig...home made LA kit I think. I only wheeled them about half a dozen times and dont recall any brain scrambling blows to them....but my brain is not what it used to be :D If you want a refund just let me know.

Just found out yesterday My Aunt is giving her Grandson Her TJ next year! Got a New addict in the making I hope. I would like to bring him to WF but his dad may just kill me If you guys corrupt him! :D

I don't need no stinking refund! :gee: I wouldn't ask for that unless they were trashed and there was no way to get them on the rig. They are fine now. I got them on and will test them out this march. Just felt like crying a lil bit afterwards. (mainly cause I had no beer to help with the install)
 
Woke up this AM to an 1 1/2" of fresh snow and it is still coming down! Will be track hunting the rest of the day. Shot a knob buck yesterday in another area hunting with a friend. Farmer let us hunt there and thanked us for thinning the herd by him as he told us the deer are really thick by his farm. Friend shot a split second before I did and the deer slipped trying to get away, as I shot I hit it in the spine. Ticks me off I shot it in the back straps. Next shot was in the head to put it out of it's misery. Venison will be on the table this year.
 
Ok, I am starting to think That I am a magnet for stupid ass drivers. Went to the gas station to get a drink earlier and as I was pulling out, IN MY RENTAL. Some dumbass chick came flying in the spot to my left and damn near hit the Slowbalt. I am pretty sure this is the same chick that cut me off a few months back in her new beetle! AHHHHHHHH, as much as I respect women I wonder how in the hell the majority of them are such bad drivers! I want my damn Jeep Back, at least it had armor when people ran into it! :( Ok, rant off!

I know several women in my family that drive very well. Unfortunately, they're also distracted by nearly everything they carry in the car with them.

"Hold on, I have to find my bluetooth headset" (while driving)

Women just have more junk going on than men do. That's why they're never paying attention.

There was a fresh inch of snow on the ground in the west end of the U.P., and as much at least an hour south of Ashland. It lightened up all the way back into Minnesota.

Good to be home, and out of the smoke (g/f's mother smokes like a bad chimney.)
