My brother in-law hit a deer Monday night just north of Milwaukee. Sure was a nice 10point buck that weighed 175 after being gutted. Brang it home and cut it up, wrapped it up, and froze it. Now they are making a European mount out of the head.
Sure tasted good last night. Chopped it up into small chunks and pan fried with onions. Slap it on some bread with ketchup(or whatever is your choice) and fried onions and good to go. Just enough left over for lunch today.:D
 
Bought my first pistol today, a brand new Springfield XD9 I know i am gonna get the "you shoulda got a bigger caliber" thing but I chose 9mm because it is cheap to shoot and 99% of the time its gonna be used for target practice. I'll carry it when I go camping and when I go to Indy or travel around Indiana.
 
Been scamming a scammer today. He has been calling me using the thing where he types and a operator reads what he types to me. I've been telling the operators what he is doing, at first they say they cannot interact with me and I am supposed to address the other caller, but after a while they start thinking it is funny. So far I've "ordered" 10 mass air flow sensors for mercedes e430s, and sent him a fake invoice for them. He thinks I've charged his stolen credit card and is all excited about it. Where do I take it from here?

Nice ... Todays bullets. 9mm will do just fine.

Plus the thing holds what 17,18,19 rounds?

Yup. 16+1. If they had an OD green one I would have bought it but black will do just fine for me.

That'll be a good gun for you Aaron. Nothing wrong with a 9mm at all. I really like those XD's too. I've got an XD on my list but it'll likely be a while before it makes it to the top.

I hope so. I know two guys with them in .40 and .45. The .45 shoots nice! I could have got a better deal online but I drove a whole 5 minutes and didn't have to worry about waiting on it to arrive at the gun shop sometime next week and it not be new or something like that. Just over 600 with tax an a box of 50 target rounds is not bad. On top of that, I went to a buddy's house to show it to him and he sold me 3 boxes of Blazer 9mm rounds for Ten bucks. He just sold his guns because he got engaged and toasted the motor on his bike. I didn't see that coming!
 
I am still shaking off a hangover from last night. Went to KC to meet up w/ some old friends that I only get to see about once a year or so. Good times and good people..just like around this place, but WAY different :D

The highlight of the trip was that I am now reunited w/ my old keg fridge from college. It had made its way through about 10 different owners and I stumbled across it again and nothing has chaged to her except a few additional stickers. We kind of had a thing that when someone went on a trip or had an extra cool sticker of sorts, we would put them on the fridge.....some are new, some are gone, but the old school spray painted flames etc are still on her. Pics to follow soon.....
 
I am going to have a fat tire now (probably more thn one).

Had freggin trick or treaters this year, first time in 3 years. Guess I need to move where I have an even longer driveway.

That was the beverage of choice for us last night as well......and man it sure was good last night but today was a different story.
