Sorry Nick! I had a Roast simmering in the crock pot at home and I was Hungry. Surprisingly I didn't have to run over anyone. There was a fender bender on 75 and the trucks had everything under control so I just had my CB on listening to them and made it through the 1 mile of congestion!
Next Time, I'll try not to have a Roast cooking because I hear that place has bitchin wings! :cheers:

What's the best way to clean all the rust off an axle and prep it for paint? Grinding, wire brush, sanding? Harsh chemicals?

It's just real rusty... thought it would be a good idea to get the rust off of it before I put it on the vehicle. :dunno: Would you not waste time with it then?

I have used a wire brush as well as a wire cup on a drill or if you have an angle grinder you can get a wire brush/cup set up for that as well.

i drug this home yesterday...
its a 96 classic with 145k...it was overheated and blew the head gasket at least...not sure what all is wrong, but the body is pretty clean...and i got it real cheap...

Just got home from the movies. Went and saw Zombieland. It was freaking awesome. I laughed a lot, and the effects were awesome. Don't see it if you don't like gore. Well worth the six bucks to see it.
