Well fella ... they've been forcasting this all week. But if it's any consolation, clouds do not inhibit UV rays. ;) :laugh3:

i dont watch the news to often and every one said it was going to be nice all weekend, oh wel maybe tomorrow

They're still saying it's about to clear up- meanwhile, it's raining harder than ever, and the local fireworks are being cancelled. Meteorologists should be forced to live and work outdoors. At least I got my steering adjusted this morning when it was still just spitting rain-and now I don't have to wash the heep.

My bad ... I was not watching the forecast for northern Indiana. I'm here in west central Indiana.

It's pretty soggy here ... it's rained all damned day. The temperature did not even get to 70 degrees. But ... tomorrow is supposed to be partly cloudy and 80 degrees.

If anyone is driving to Clay County for the big fireworks show........don't.
Rain has canceled.

The weather folks here got it right for once....

Rainover night and into the day..but clear up in time for the fireworks... Pretty nice evening to sit on the blanket and watch them...

Going to look at a house today... Momma will get her own garage, and I get the 2.5 car one at the back of the property...

are you sure the internet works everywhere

HAHA! I'm back to civilization now! If I had a better phone that could handle NAXJA i would already have posted. It rained ALL DAY LONG yesterday! It rained from probably 11am up until about 8 this morning. That was probably the most boring 4th ever!

'Twas a good weekend. Good weather. Back to work tomorrow, not really looking forward to that. But hey, its a paying job.

rain ruined the whole weekend and then as it cleared off this morning and we got the boat out.....then blew something in the freaking motor . Can not really figure out what went wrong. It filled the whole engine compartment with water and smoke and the rubber on the exhaust bellow was all melted. Scared the crap out of me thinking that I was sitting on top of 30 gallons of high octane fuel.

Anyone want a good buy on a Baja Islander? :D

Myself and two buddies camped out Friday night on the Ohio River west of Evansville. Friday night was great minus the bugs, but Saturday we woke up to rain. Had to pack up the campsite and travel back to the ramp in not quite a downpour. One of the guys brought his 12' jonboat with a 7.5 Chrysler outboard. He plodded back to the ramp at ~20 MPH. The other guy and I were in his bass boat with a 150 Johnson... raindrops hurt a bit at 60 MPH :D

Still a good time regardless.

Went to Prarie Meadows Casino and saw over $25,000 in fireworks go up in less than 30 minutes, the finale was so bright, it was like it was daytime. And since I knew the guys shooting them off, I was close to the action!:flame::flame:

Doesn't sound like it was a good weekend for MWC boaters!
