Doesn't sound like it was a good weekend for MWC boaters!

that is no shiz....I saw on FB that Sean blew up his outboard as well.

The happiest two days in a boat owners life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell the boat! :D

If my problem is what I am thinking it is...looks to be in the $6500 range to put a new motor in....F-that!

My friend just had to re-motor his twin Merc 350 sterndrives in a 24ft fishing boat. Not cheap stuff. Its just a Chev block but all the stuff for boat use really drives it up.

Guy that works here just bought a 29' cruiser off ebay around Detroit.
He's heading out there Friday to drive (pilot it? captain it? Whatever you call driving a boat) it around the mitten to get it to Burns Harbor, IN.
Sounds like a cool trip.

<chuckle> Tell him to bring a wad of cash in case anything breaks on the way 'round.

29' cruiser. That's not gonna be a fast boat. How long is he planning?

He doesn't know.
Whatever it takes.
At about a gallon/mile @ full throttle, he'll be in no hurry.

I want a boat:bawl:

Please check out the poll I placed in the sec's forum (glen is ghost for those of you who don't know)

10-4 Brian, I voted #2 but #3 was good as well...but only one month?? Sould be until the next carnage fest! :D

nice work Brian

Can you guys see this pic?

Yup. It's coming through from your personal Comcast website just fine. Might be a little big for anybody on dial-up, though.

OK, got my entry in for ROTM. Maybe I'll see if I can put the good pic on p-bucket for a more manageable size. And thanks again for getting that pic, Jeff

Even though I know I wont win I entered for fun. Thanks for the reminder Stryker
