Important

Back in Indy for the weekend. Stopped at the Gander Mountain in Terre Haute to stock up on .40S&W since everyone in Vincennes is out; boxes of 50 rounds were going for $25-$40 each!!! I've never walked out of a GM so fast.

Ended up getting some at Walmart in Indy for $17/box. Ridiculous how some stores will take advantage of a problem.

I spent 2 hours today trying to get that dumb c9.25 carrier out, and only moved it 1/4", still not out. Only took 30 min for the d44. Finally gave up and had to go find something to weld...

Could be worse... At least your not fighting it, in a rusted-muddy rig.

Close tolerances to say the least.

Remember my issue with the .410 rounds...

Wally*World had them for half the cost of Gander Mountain....

Oh yeah, I knew GM would be higher, they always are. I just wasn't expecting THAT much higher. Only reason I looked there was all the stores in Vincennes have been sold out for a few weeks, even Walmart.

Ammo has skyrocketed everywhere. Nearly double of what it was a year ago. It's just not certain stores "taking advantage" it's everywhere.

A fawking 500 round brick of .22LR is $20!!

live from Joplin, Mo....yee-haw  on the way back home from picking up the new truck from Dallas. Cant wait to get home and see if it will fit through the garage doors with the big ol' mirrors :D

isn't Joplin where The Chrome Shop Mafia is from?

How much do you want?
I have 1500+ rounds left after some Asswad stole my SKS.
I was thinking about using it for currency after TEOTWAWKI, but I could be convinced to part with it.

Shoot me a PM with a price.

To be honest, it's worth a (beep)ton more now than when you bought it I'm sure. 1500 rounds would sell for $450-500 around here. I can't afford that.

Been tearing a part the waggy. Do I really need the Condenser in front of the radiator. My AC hasn't ever worked and I don't care to fix it. Looks like removing it would help my cooling system more! Anything I need to be aware of prior to removing it.

You really should have the system exacuated by a shop, before opening it up, if you think there might still be any freon left in it.

Gotta save that ozone, y'know...

Yep, The gun show in cincy. last week had 500 rd bricks for 38.00. Crazy.. Seen cincy. Bass Pro had the same ammo on sale for 15.99 a brick this week.

If you have no luck you can send it to me. We have a truck come by every thursday. PM for address if you want!

Sweet!! Thanks for the offer... I was spring cleaning in the garage yesterday. Went through the toolbox, found several broken sockets from Matco .. So I need to track down a Snap-on and Matco tool truck.

I see them around so should'nt be a problem tracking them down.

I didn't put the a/c condensor back on,when I did the engine swap. No issues that I remember.

Happy Easter!

Yeah, guns and ammo as we all know are going through the roof. I have heard that the federal ammo plant in the twin cities is running 24/7 365.
