One upping you, lol. Just had a growler of The Library's (local brew) German Bock. Very tasty stuff as well.

MMMM Library micro brews. I like the winter wheat myself. Although I get one hell of a sinus headache the next day. Thanks again Brian for the cargo mat.

haha, probably true. He is probably wishing that this roll would have been "the one" for me :D Actually he was really shook up when he showed up and saw the truck and the broken child seat. My son goes out to chore with me almost every morning but I was running late yesterday and it was rainy/muddy and things were just a mess so I had him stay with Grandma while I tended to the chores, good thing. Slick mud on hills is just as bad as ice and accidents happen.

Glad to hear everyone's ok. Been hearing of many close calls from people around me. Maybe I should be a little extra cautious.

I like East Dubuque ;)

At least, as it was 25 years ago...

I neglected to mention, I got DWI on the way home from Winterfest.

There's a great Brew Pub/Restaurant in Houghton (UP) called the Library.
Home made Jack Daniels/chocolate chip ice cream.
Killer

Funny.... Thats exactly the one I'm referring to :D

You should see the growler collection I have in my room up here: Keweenaw Brewing, Titletown Brewing, Minocqua Brewing, Hereford and Hops, and The Library. I like fine beer.

And no problem Rob, thanks for lunch, it was really good!

Death Wobble Incident?

:D

Rev

Yep, it was horrible :scared:

:D

Looked at it last night, even tied an extension cord to the steering wheel so I could turn it back and forth, couldn't see anything loose. The steering stabilizer is shot, but I hate to just hide the problem with a new stabilizer...

That sucks. I had a moderate wobble on the way home also. I shadetree diagnosed it to the steering box, but it hasn't moved since I got home from WF. I'll pull it into the shop soon to get it figured out.

Just got back from Bill Goodman's Gun Show in Cincy. Can't believe the price on ammo. Through the roof, for the most part, they had anything you were looking for ...

A guy in line ahead of me spent 2,100 on ammo. No typo. two thousand one hundred dollars. I thought my 600.00 in the last two weeks was insane, but if ya want it it'll cost ya.

Time to start reloading again.

What gets me is it's nearly stock, just spacers in front and some full length add-a-leaves I made from stock mains. It's got brand new factory lower arms, and the low mileage D30 from Cindy's '99, new Gabriel shocks, and stock tires/rims. Toe-in is right on, near as I can tell. It rides as smooth and quiet as any vehicle I've ever owned, except when it's DWing.

Had another incident the other day, too, but it's been fine since, even with our massive quantities of potholes around here. :dunno:

That's the automatic place for dinner after a day skiing Mt Bohemia for my son and I.

I'm wondering if my DW could be load related. When I have the spare tire out of my 92, I'll occasionally get some wobble after hitting bumps. It damps itself out (no stabilizer) but never happens when I have the spare in there.

I normally have a good amount of tools and hardware in the 94, all of which I removed to bring the firewood to WF, and hadn't put back when the recent incident occured...

You've not mentioned the condition of your track bar bushing/rod end ... are they OK?

Les

Obviously, the extension cord steering wheel turner is not the best method, as there is friction from the window frame sides, mirrors, and hood, but I didn't see any slop there either.

Maybe I should just lift it 6-7" and throw on some 35s :D

We hit 2000 Robert..

Seems like yesterday.

I was pretty proud, until I saw that Matthew and Travis (both getting stuck!) have been hit almost 4,000 times, and the dork in the H3 (again, defeated) is nearly 3,000.

I did at least get a cameo in the first one, walking in front of the camera at 0:43...

See ya
