Important

I bought a D70 sight unseen and had a friend pick it up for me and once it got to my house it was a Sterling 10.25 so.....I tried to contact the sellar and he would not return my calls and I learned a quick lesson: Dont pay cash for anything from a stranger at a truck stop :D Oh well, I have a hell of a good boat anchor for $100 :D

I paid my buddy $50 to get it for me, so does anyone need a Sterling w/ 4.10's for $150?? :D:D:D

It wouldn't happen to be for a dually would it? I've got a F350 Dually sitting in my dad's back yard without a rear axle.

I do have one that would work for you. I have an 87 F350 that was a dually that was changed to run singles on the rear. It has 4.10's that were replaced approx 15K ago. The truck was our old chore truck and now is out of commission. So yeah, I would get rid of the rear axle. The one I bought has no brakes etc on it since I was going to do an upgrade to it. I got hosed on buying it so I really dont want to stick it to someone else on that axle, it has bad juju. I am saving the D60 out of the chore truck for my next project, but may sell it as well.

Just got back from school...

Oh well, I guess I should have taken a picture with me. Was told it was off a 70s Dodge Powerwagon, and searching the only thing I ever found was Dana 60.

Anyway, I've been looking around and it looks almost as strong, although not as many aftermarket parts. I like the width (64" WMS), so I'll see what I can do, at least it was cheap. I guess I'll have to decide if I want to keep it now

Yeah, swing by here too. :D

The roads up in this neck of the woods are mostly wet, but there's supposed to be a little wet snow coming down occasionally today.

Everything is soggy here. All the melted snow then, a bit of rain makes for sogginess.

soggy here as well. the past few days of higher temps has the frost coming out of the ground. it's like having snot on the top 2 inches of the ground. LOTS of wind. Our new garage has lost about 90% of the tar paper while we were waiting for a warm enough span to put the shingles on.

we are expecting 50-70 mile an hour gust of winds tomorrow from what i seen, with all the sogginess should make for an interesting day of trees fallin.

Same here i am parking away from trees! :D

Yesterday and today we've had temps of 43-48* with winds 25-35mph.... I'm moving my jeep from the uni lot with trees on it to the uni lot that is paved.... Also gona try and replace muffler once to paved lot.... Going to wal mart to get a bunch of cardboard to lay down so i don't get soaked.... Of course this all depends on if it starts raining again....

I am soooo glad I bought a generator during the last ice storm. Got everything wired up, just waiting for the the next outtage.

50 when I left Madison this AM.....35 when I got to Superior....and raining....and windy....I had to do roof work.

Better then -10.

Next stop, Fargo.

Looks like Sioux Falls or Davenport after that....sorry Sean, not gonna be going past your place.

and way to far north of you Mike.

Should be a nice drive to Fargo....even with the snow.
