Finished up the NP208 rebuild... now I have $$ to re-work my XJ's steering.

WJ pump, YJ box, MORE brace and PSC cooler coming soon. After that, just minor stuff and I'm ready for WF.

We need some decals made.

Agreed!!!! I don't mine the snow at all!!!

Ice I can do without...

Hope this doesn't mess up the figure 8 track. It's going to play hell for the Branik race golf cart.

won't mess the track up...just changes your driving style...

Waaa.

Going in at 1:30AM tonight....in Davenport....then driving home around 4....at least that is the plan.

If you all don't hear from me....start searching I-80 between Moline and Minooka.

OR

If 80 is closed...Rt. 30

Made it.

4 1/2 hours.

Jumped off 80 after finding it to be a sheet of ice, ran the state roads the rest of the way, at least they had snow on them for traction.

Night all.

I have my plow attached to my riding mower.
At the end of the driveway spun my wheel out of the tire.
fortunately, had my heep in the garage, so I
winched it back to the garage.
couldn't air it up. even tried the "starting fluid" match trick.
Firestone fixed it for free. Nice guys!
got the tire back on thew mower, now
the transmission won't engage. WTF!

Good morning.

Measured the ice on the roof of the work ride when I got home.....1"......pure ice, no snow, after driving home from Davenport. No wonder the interstate was slick. Only saw 1 jackknife, across the westbound lanes....good thing the bridge was there, it stopped him from going over the edge.

Hope the snow blower is up to this stuff.

we have an inch of pure ice on top of the 7" of snow from earlier this week. Power lines are down in rural areas and the county roads are not passable. We had to fire up the PTO driven generator for the hog barns at midnight due to flickering power and not going to risk loosing 4800 head of hogs to no heat or food/water.

I need....

A bigger snowblower
or
A plow on the ATV
or
A plow on the truck

Snowblower did fine where it was not driven on.....

So.....after trying to chip ice for about 3 hours...out came the ATV.

1/2 hour of donuts in the driveway and it was all broken up.

My nieghboors love me.

:D

What a Ice Storm!!!
I've seen alot of chicago winter weather in the three years of doing drop and hooks from cincy.

Last night was the worst ice storm.. I had to stop several times to clean the ice from the front of the radiator just to keep from overheating..

Crazy weather , It was 60 and sunny in cincinnati today.

All wheel drive big trucks! now that would be fun...
