I didn't know that there was one in Illinois...

I didn't either!

Well, we may be out of the Moab trip. It falls right on my midterm week, and looking at my class load next semester, it's going to be pretty difficult to reschedule all of the tests.

That, plus, I have applied to a job in Virginia, and I may have to use the trip money to travel back and forth to VA for the hiring process.

We'll see, but it's not looking promising :tear: Anyone need a cabin reservation?

You'd be suprised about how damn hard it is to find 2" or 3" straps....

I figured Farm and Fleet... None, dont even carry them.. The guy in the auto department gave me the blank look of stupidity, when he asked me why I thought they would carry them and I replied 'to strap stuff to one of the trailers you have sitting outside for sale...'

O'Reillys... one... one stinking strap.. Who in the heck needs one strap?....

AutoZone... none, but they have alot of 1" straps.. Idiot at the counter says double up the 1" straps it will be the same... To prevent myself from either A. gouging out his eyes with my keys while I explain that a 900 lb. safe load means 900 for all the straps, not 1800 if you use two, or B. slapping him across the face and telling every customer in the place they are as stupid as him for shopping in there... I walked out very quickly...

So I succumbed to shopping Satan... Walmart number one...2 straps.. Well, Im making progress....I have three now.... Wally World number two... 6...thats right they have six straps... If I had just given in to the evil in the first place I could have gotten all of them in 20 minutes at the Wally World closest to my house, and not spent 3 hours running around, realizing exactly why I cant stand 75% of the population......

They've got good straps here at the local farm store Howey. That's where mine came from. Take back satans straps and snag some when you come down for the PigGig.:dunno:

That is all :)

Excellant.

Washed out all of the mud that was stuck in my doors this afternoon... sprayed the hose in the window channel until the water started coming out clear. There was a ton of mud in my passenger side doors, I really need to stop playing in mud puddles.

Top five reasons you know you are at the Cliff's.....

5. 20K worth of ATV's on 4k worth of aluminum trailer, pulled by $500 worth of clapped out mid-80's Chevy....

4. Jabba the Hutt.. attempting to stuff his 250cc ATV into the back of his Suburban. Using a set of 2x4 and plywood ramps. All the while telling his buddy 'lets get out of here, there's no chicks here'

3. Two gas stations in town....one doesn't have any gas..and the other one is two miles in the wrong direction...

2. ATV'ers playing in the enourmous mud hole....in the parking lot

And the number one reason you know you are at the Cliff's.....

You wash some of the large mud clods off your Jeep and find pieces of litter.....

Another way to know you're at the Cliffs:

Rev wants to find some rocks.

They both worked for me...

Had a short day of work yesterday, and it was still nice when I got home, so I washed the "fleet".

All three xjs together took about the same amount of time as my van...

The only remaining problems on the $500 beater are some mild oil leaks, AC, and front axle u-joint. And I really need a cup holder, the 5-speed is kinda challenging while drinking my coffee...
