Checking in if thats what you want to call it. For those of you who care Winterfest is more than likely out for me. At least in my own vehicle anyway. If you're wandering what happened lets just say a deer and a fence designed to contain hell where involved. I'm going to get pics today, but do to to lack of internet service in my area who knows when I can get them up. Anyone sees an Amberfire Limited for sale let me know. I might be looking, but not for sure yet. If it is totaled I'm not sure if I'll buy it back as a salvage or just get another one. Although I have though of stepping up to a WJ it's doubtful. I can say I will be driving a Jeep whatever happens.
 
That sucks about your rig, are you alright?

My theory about deer/car collisions is this: If you have to buy a hunting license from the state to hunt "their" deer, then shouldn't the state pay for the damage that "their" deer cause to vehicles???
 
Hey all I have been around for awhile and neve got around to saying high to everyone. I guess I am in the MWC? I live in Kentucky and work for the Department of Defense. I train Soldiers on the STRYKER combat vehicle. For those who dont know what that is I have posted some pics. I am the guy in the middle of the back row in the Black coat. So Hi.

I had one big limb come down out of the tree in the front yard. It's still laying there.:D All of our doors were frozen shut on our vehicles this morning.

Crazy how the temp dropped so fast yesterday after that storm went through.

Yup, I had to pry our doors open also. Temp dropped about 20* in a half hour here.
 
What's the deal with the stars on houses? There everywhere around here too, everybody has big ol' metal stars on the side of their house. I don't get it. The one in that pic is a tiny one. The ones I've seen around here are like 3 footers. Big uns.
 
Wife called me at 2AM to let me know the power was out....while the nieghboorhood was out, our power was on :D

I fought high wind and blowing snow on I35 in Minniesota most of the day.

In Fargo now....-15.

Dunno, must be a Southern IL/IN thing. We have a small one in the house, wife likes em. We have a wooden American flag on the front of our house. The previous owners had a 2 or 3' star on it.

The people down the street have a 8' smiley face painted on their garage door and smaller smiley faces painted everywhere. That's weird.

Our power stayed on all night, even with a couple transformers blowing down the street.
