Had stuff to do today.....

Freezing rain coming down, the hardware store is out of de-icer, so me and the Morton girl salted the front walk. But now I'm stuck finishing the plumbing in our downstairs bathroom.

Winch bumper is on. Now, just have to wait and see what my post-Christmas winch budget looks like. Attempting to install new battery cables tomorrow before work.

Today I get to figure out where the 8" diameter puddle on the d/s floor of my XJ is coming from. Stupid rain.

Further investigation reveals:

No rust, which is a relief. The brown is sandy mud. My decision on whether or not to herc the interior may be made for me. We'll see what the budget allows. For now, I'm just going to dry it out and put the carpet and seat back.

I hate this damn freezing rain sh*t!!! I busted my ass on the steps about an hour ago, I threw the damn pizza all over the porch, and now my neigbors 6 year old has heard his crazy neighbor (me!) scream F**K!! at the top of his lungs! I bet monday morning show and tell at the school will be a good time!! Maybe I should have spent a few bucks on ice melt instead of pizza and beer. And by the way, the beer survived the incident!
