Does anyone need a set of worn out 31's?

It is getting to be time to get new tires on the work truck, 101K miles on the 31 BFG A/T's

Rev
Ooofffff........ I don't think I'm gonna get much over 60k out of the BFG A/Ts on my CTD, even with a 5 tire rotation.

Ouch.

the 1st set went 85K.

This set still has about 10K left on them.

They must wear better on a Ford.

I put these on last November, and they're showing pretty significant wear. I've also got better than 20k on them as well. This winter, no problem. I suspect that the following winter wouldn't be pleasant with them.

Wouldn't surprise me that they wear better on a Ferd...... they don't get turned as hard. :D

Started classes yesterday. Why does this college thing seem to never end? I mean I've only taken 138 hours total.

I've been in 4, and have at least another 4 left. Starts monday and I'm already sick of it. I enjoy it to a point, but damn it's taking a long ass time.

I've got 75K on the set of BFG A/T's on my F250, and still have 8/32" of tread left. They haven't had an easy life, my truck wieghs 9K lbs and gets driven around construction sites every day.

I had a set of 31s that ended up being on a F150, two cherokees, and a wrangler before they finally wore out.

I get home from work yesterday and my verizon dsl is not working.

I spend 15 minutes with an automated answering service trying to speak to a human about the problem. Dialing "0" during the call does nothing.

After it asks me for the 4th time to "please say the phone number you are calling about." I say "go fuck yourself", and instantly am transferred to a service tech. She even spoke english.

I FUCKING HATE VERIZON

Every time I need to call either them or Comcast, I budget an hour and a half of my live down the drain lost in automated menus....

I love verizon. Just not their support. Of all the years I've had their cell service, home phone, and dsl, this is the first issue I've ever had.

the best customer service is the kind you never need...

Turned out not to be a technical problem at all, a storm had knocked out all service to my area code.

I spent night before last on the phone with Linksys. Couldn't get one of their routers to work. Apparently some sort of conflict with Vista. I went through all of the usual motions.....that I could figure out, (I Fawking hate vista, why the fawk can't I do an ipconfig/release ? And where in the hell are the TCP/IP configuration settings? Why the hell does microsoft keep hiding shit so that when the super magical auto setup fails I can't just go through the whole network and assign IP's manually because I can't find it.)

Turns out I had to do a firmware upgrade to fix it. after an hour of dicking around on the automated system I finally found a real person. Friendly real person though.

And the new AT&T wireless can suck my balls. They flat out lied to me. I asked if any towers had been abandoned as a result of there merger the answer was "no we haven't abandoned anything" Then WHY all of the sudden can I no longer get service in my house, or on the road south of home for 1 mile.

ok im done :D

IP settings?

Settings>Network connections>Local Area connection>Properties>scan down to TCP/IP config, double click.

Just did this on a Vista box last night to assign it an IP address.

Ok computer guys, I have an external hd, says it can't write, can't finish, or error, something to that effect, g:\$mft I can see the first level of folders, but that is it. Any chance I can save anything on it? Have about 5 years worth of pictures and music I'd like to keep.

Their First Level Techs do. But saying 'try turning off the router and turning it back on' really isn't that hard to do.
Try getting them to give you the password so you can unlock ports in the damn Versalink router.... You would think you are trying to launch a nuke.
