Went to 1.25"x .120 wall after bending an RE trackbar.
Went to 1.5"x .188 wall after bending 1.25"x .120.
Went to 1.25" solid 1050 steel after bending 1.5"x .188.

So far, so good.

How much shipped to 54141:D I also bent my tierod to hell and chewed up a few spider gear teeth this past Sunday at McCaslin. So many things going on I had better get caught up on fixing my junk.

I may be headed up to your neighborhood for a while. We have a pipeline job in Indiana. Either more details will follow or you won't hear another word about it. The company is occasionally flaky about jobs like this.

I ended up in Turkey less than a week after hearing about that job.
I never heard another word about the job in Puerto Rico they had for me. :(
I never heard another word about the Arizona job that was mentioned in passing.

so we'll see. They asked me when school was out for me, and when I said "a week from today, their ears perked up.

Damn Kim!! I'd hate to see what you would break if you had more than a 4 banger under the hood.

I hate working on my Jeep.....
I just hate it.....
Nothing is easy, the stupidest things break, and in a county of 300,000 people, do you think I can find Spicer part 36326-2, bolt-Hex (qty 6),item number 39 in my handy dandy parts list, page 331 of the spicer book.
WTF A-Hole! what does it matter what year make and model it is, I am showing you a page out of the book, cross refence it!

I can order it throught the Ford dealer, 4 weeks wait, $8.00 each!!!

I know that feeling.
when I called the ford dealer to get the flange for the 8.8 he asked what year, I told him it wasn't under an explorer and gave him the spicer number AND the ford part number.
He promptly told me that if I didn't give him the year he couldn't help me.

idiots.

I found it in stock at a local drivetrain shop, those guys were awesome.

That is just corporate idiocy at its finest. If I get a weeks notice before I travel I'm really lucky. On that note, flying to LA tomorrow. Found out Friday.

Tons and tons of homes on the market here. We have talked of relocation however, I don't think wyfe would go for WI. We were thinking a little closer than that. I've had several interviews lately. Noone wants to pay me enough, and I can't afford that big of a pay cut. I've got other leads that I'm working on too. Hopefully, something will pan out before too long.*crossing fingers*

I took a massive pay cut to go back to school and change careers. Think 38k salary to $8/hr. Ouch. I hope the next 2 years go by quickly so I can start my new career.

We also went from a 2600 sf house to an 875 sf house. Good thing my wife supports me on this!
