Nice. I hit a beetle the size of a half dollar the other day with the work truck. Dang thing sounded like a rock hitting the windshield and left a splat the size of a small basketball.

Got knocked off the back of my quad once when I hit a big wasp and got stung right in the middle of my forehead. The pain only lasted a few minutes, but the "welcome to my Quickie-Mart, would you like a blue wakadu slurpie" jokes lasted the rest of the day.

Not a stock one. It was an AJ's or JCR non winch setup IIRC.

yes, they showed up just beofre I left work on weds., sorry I didn't let you know, things were just ab it crazy maing trip preps.

I delivered them to NC, and didn't even charge.

got back from barnwell last night.

We rolled one XJ. He flopped, recovered, broke a 297x then did a flop, nose pivot and landed on the lid facing uphill while going downhill. All 3 passengers were ok.


Oh and I broke my d-30 again. chewed some teeth off the ring gear again. I think I found the root cause though. It seems that the bolts that hold the truetrac together had backed out about a half an inch. I am gonna have words with the local shop this morning. I took it in a week after they installed it and told them it was making noise. They told me it wasn't making noise after driving it a half a block. Also the axle seal that I told them was leaking and they said that some fluid had just gotten into the tube during install, was actually leaking.

On the plus side I was able to drive up to 80mph on the way home and it didn't feel like the jeep was coming apart anymore.

Well we just put an offer in on another house..... big enough yard for a sweet garage.

Its one of those houses that got caught up in the courts, so we will save a ton on it. Best part is we will get to make two house payments until our current house is sold, will know next week if we get it or not.
