Important

Well, we made it home. Sean is relaxing in his chair. The roads were kind of rough between here and there from the snow drifts.

Thanks to all who sent things to Sean while in the hospital. The flowers and balloons brightened up his room.

"The gods presented Pandora with a box into which each had put something harmful, and forbade her ever to open it. Then they sent her to Epimetheus, who took her gladly although Prometheus had warned him never to accept anything from Zeus. He took her, and afterward when that dangerous thing, a woman, was his, he understood how good his brother's advice had been. For Pandora, like all women, was possessed of a lively curiosity. She had to know what was in the box. One day she lifted the lid and out flew plagues innumerable, sorrow and mischief for mankind. In terror Pandora clapped the lid down, but too late......"

It really tied the room together...

Just like my taillights and rear quarter glass that I miss after this weekend.

via rubbing against rocks and trees. Also lost some weight from all the anti freeze that spilled out while my water pump seized up 2 hours away from home.

yeah I usually haul around a spare engine...

Sunday night, middle of no where (evening shade, AR), 3 hours later I'm loading my junk onto a trailer.

I lucked out... all that groaning and squeaking my MJ was making at Winterfest turned out to be the alternator's bearings headed south... it waited until I got home to completely sieze and chew through the belt.

i still cant believe i made it there and back with a fuel pump going out,
oh well at 165,000 miles it could'nt last forever .
( $110 later it sure is nice to have full throttle back )

yup , the pump couldnt hold 49 psi in the rail ( measured it once i got home 35 psi @ an idle ), and the underhood temps when it sat idling was boiling the fuel out .

acted just like it was running rich , but was the exact opposite . p0171 system too lean, causing a lean misfire .
now i have hood vents , and an overide switch for the cooling fan .
i might order the extended idle switch like you have , the wiring for it is there .
oh well , i had fun anyway .

I was talking about the water pump
I know, and the spare engine I haul has all the accessories :D

Didn't have a spare, not something I would think to carry.

For those of you who don't look at the other website....

Sean is back in the hospital, in Madison. Had some complications with bleeding and trying to pass blood clots in his urine.

I will post more later today after I talk to the doctors.
