I am still pissed at the saints. They have sucked the life out of Louisiana football for the last 28 years......one good season that happens to coincide with the saints returning to the dome after the city they played in was destroyed makes me suspicious, not proud.

big earthquake and the Oakland A's and 49er's are top dog, 9-11 and the yanks and patriots come out on top, Hurricane Ivan and suddenly the Buccaneers are contenders, Katrina and the saints are winners.
I am completely full of poop and the dates likely don't co-incide but the saints will always be losers to me because they let me down.....
If you think I made that statement based on some half-assed attempt at emotion because my team didn't get in, you're sadly mistaken.
Look at the numbers, even the Bears 3 losses (the gb loss notwithstanding) came from the Dolphins and Pats.
The AFC was 40-24 versus the NFC this year, 11 of the AFC losses came from the last place teams in each division, with 13 sprinkled in amongst the other 12 teams.
The funny thing is I antagonized and you responded. At least I have something to do while I'm watching this game.
