Nice looking jeep. Is it just me or is that rack sitting really high off the roof?

I'm leaving first thing in the morning to go backpacking till Monday down in the Red River Gorge area with some friends. Should be a great time, although I'm disappointed it's not as cold as it was the last couple weeks.

Its the same rack I had on the old Jeep, Matt. From those angles it does look like it though.

There are days.....

Talked to Dad an hour ago. He'll probably pull through this, but he sounds very weak. Only talked for a couple of minutes, and that was about all he could handle.

And it doesn't help that I blew a front brake line on my Dodge earlier today. Ruptured it a mile away from the house at a dead stop. Fortunately. I'll have parts on Monday.

Glad to hear it. I'll keep him in my thoughts Man! Sucks about the truck but it could have blown at high speeds!

I had something really witty, but I'll let it go.

I appreciate the sentiment though. I never thought about how my life was worth the price of a tank of gas, thanks for pointing that out.

I guess if I was from your neck of the woods, I could have added the satellite dish, the trailer and the two cars in the front yard to the total.
 
Dad had a brake line go on an an that international chassied school bus previously mentioned with a half load of kids. Everything turned out all right.

Found out where my driveline vibes show up finally (post lift). At about 85 mph. I picked a high speed convoy of a few SUV's on Hwy 51 so I decided to run with them. Nothing catastrophic though but a solid thrumming from the front end.
 
I hate Nissan Xterras right now.... Think the one in my garage is possessed.

I do have a little more class than that, though: the two broken-down jeeps are in the back yard.

Just got home from the Ks Rocks... Spent the entire weekend out there. Saw 2 people the guy and his dog that come every week, and one guy in a sami with 31's. 14" of snow melting off in the last week has made the park a little slick and slimy. Glad I didn't take my rig.
