"I'd like to order my weather for this weekend: I'll have the special, 70* from noon until saturday morning then it can warm up a bit, then down to 70* for the night and sunday. I'd also like Lake Superior's water temp to be 65* if possible."
"Would you like humidity with that?"
"No, thanks"
"And how about rain?"
"Not if you can help it."

I have decided that if we have anymore fawking rain I am going to plant rice next year...nothing but damn rice.....

it says 93 degrees here, heat index 99.:sunshine:
I better turn my thermostat cooler in my office,
I may begin to perspire....:kissyou:

I actually had to turn the AC up in the truck today.....was getting a little chilly.

Every now and then I carank the AC up....and open the windows...just to get the fresh air feeling.

so, now that I got my F-150, I don't drive the XJ much.
How often should I start the XJ?
Whats too much...whats too little?

I will actually say it also gets a little chilly at times here in the office.

Whatever you do for the XJ, I say make sure you drive it and get it all up to temp. Maybe once a month?

I saved a lot of electricity today.
Put some steel out in direct sunlight for an hour.
Went outside with a welding rod.
Scraped it across the metal and damn if it didn't lay down a nice bead. :D

Take it to the store once every couple weeks. Make sure it gets up to operating temp and it should be good.

With our fleet of vehicles, something is always sitting for a few days until I decide to drive it for a while.

I'm hoping I'm not going to be in the market for a new blower motor. It quit working..........that means no nice cool air coming from the vents!
This is unacceptable!

Mine is sort of a different breed. When I got it, the factory switch didn't work and the previous owners had wired in a toggle switch. It's either on or it's off. It's on it's own separate fused circuit. It's never bothered me being on a toggle so I've not messed with it. The up-side is that it shouldn't be too difficult to find the problem........there's just not that much there to go wrong. I know got power to the switch so it's "downstream" from there. Hopefully, I'll have time to tinker with it tomorrow.

Couldn't have gone bad at a worse time! Good luck with that mike.

Mike,

Before you pull your hair out trying to find it, my wife's 2000 did that and after a loooooooong search it turned out to be the plug to the blower.

It still does it every once in a while. I have to turn the fan up on high, open the hood and reach behind the a/c condenser and wiggle and push the plug on the back of the fan motor. With mine, it's something about the plug not gripping the terminals on the motor.

It may not be your problem but it was with mine and it might save you a headache...
