Well.. the mini-van tranny decided that we don't need any gears than First and reverse....
Fluid looks great.. and no material visble in it.. no slipping either. Just two stiffer than normal shifts and no gears...

Here is hoping that its just one of the selenoids....

Is it a windstar by any chance. Our 01 Windstar tranny did that same thing to us a few months ago. Cost us 1400 to be rebuilt. I told my wife I didn't want the van and the KJ was a much better vehicle but the payment was right.

Finally got the lift on the FSJ done. Hooked it up to the camper to help break in the rear springs. Probably could use a bigger drop hitch now

Left Ottumwa at 9:30 this morning, after meeting with the engineer at KYOU. Now I am in Cedar Rapids, the city of 5 seasons (Whatever that means).

Spent most of the day checking out little roads along the river.....my truck WAS clean.

Yes...the AmericInn is the nicer of the choices in town, the Days Inn was a dump, I stayed there last time.

Nope... If I have to have a mini-van its a Chrysler... Ford builds good trucks.. not much else... Chrysler builds good kid haulers... not much else...

Cost $130 with labor....Speed sensor was out.

Good idea. It has the old school mobile home style wheels on it anyway... need to convert it to standard axle.

Side note, got a 98 Windstar earlier this week for cheap, excellent interior and exterior, has a bad head gasket though (hence being cheap). Hoping to get that fixed and make a little dough, then maybe I'll get off my ass and go wheeling again.
