I just finished honing the lip off a spare throttle body... Trying to decide if I should go ahead and polish it for the hell of it.

I just got "the call", time to pick up and move again. Going to be in Newburgh, IN (near Evansville) on Monday to start a new project.
Was in the middle of building a cage for the jeep at a local offroad shop here in the quad-cities... going to have to put that project on hold for now too.

God, I hate election years....
Busiest construction season in the last 4... haven't gotten crap done on my Jeep... And there are WAY too many kids around here...
And Rev I hope your satellite helps my damn reception. Ever since the flunky installed the Dish 500, we lose it everytime it so much as farts real hard outside. And I'm not real sure how strictly IL enforces the 55 for all trailers stuff.. I got passed by an ISP car last time I was on 39 coming home from Cliff's. I was doing 60...
And on the neighbor news.. They caught the serial murderer.. so we have a family of fatties next door.. I mean people come on... We could all stand to lose a few pounds.. but is congealed grease and lard an appropriate dinner for your 300lbs. teenage daughter.... And I really had no idea they made bikini's that large?????????

I get the same issue with my dish.
Got the truck inspected today.....10 min and $19 later and I am legal.
The teenager girl across the street is fine as frog hair.
She spends allot of time lounging at my next door neighbors hot tub.

I have to agree with Rev, I was just that age not too long ago and they did not look like that. It just seems that they are finding out how to be more grown up looking (to put it nicely) earlier and earlier. Its frustrating as hell.

So I got a few things installed on the Heep today.
I was a little skeptical about putting the bored throttle body on, I didn't think it could make much of a difference but wow, it really does improve the hell out of the throttle response. I'll hit a few of my known routes tomorrow and see what the Scangauge says about mileage improvements.
I pulled the front axle for the hell of it and installed some spacers, new axle side upper bushings and adjustable LCAs. I'm sitting a little high in the front now because I ran out of time and didn't get my rear shackles put on. It sure improved the ride, I don't have the thunk under acceleration and braking anymore.
Hopefully my daughter will cooperate and I'll be able to get my shackles thrown on tomorrow.
