Important

Hmm, about 10 years ago from a guy in Monrovia. He knew a guy named Bruce.
Oh OK. Just looks like same jeep. Had boggers and all. Does it have the roof cut out for a sunroof but bigger.

What was your last one, impala?

If it doesn’t have a CArbon monoxide detector, put one in. Better safe then sorry with the history of those.

They fixed that issue. Which was primarily an issue with the way that equipment was installed in them by local departments. Ours doesn't set them up with the potential issues.

I had one of those for a minneapolis trip and back, pretty comfortable.

Not been here in a while. I went to the crawl and had a good time:

I some how managed to bend both drive shafts. I also smashed both rockers with the IRO sliders. On a plus note, I did win some cool stuff in the raffle. Thanks ironman4.4fab and stinkyfab racing.

I put the steering brace from Ironman on and love it:

It puts the sector shaft in this awesome joint:

I did have to trim here to clear the harmonic balancer:

I also used the trail proof tranny mount from Stinkyfab (sorry no pics) and it is awesome. I may or may not use the sway bar relocation brackets. It was a $150 gift certificate and I may not have chose the best option.

I have replaced both drive shafts. I took off the IRO sliders and gonna live with the rusty rockers:

So all in all, is it perfect? no. Is it going to Moab? Hell yes. Now I just need a bigger fuel tank for the tow truck.

Hahahaha Ben and I were talking about your trucks fuel tank last night around the campfire.

So yes I know I need to be bigger, it is what it is.

I spent today working on the jeep, added this cool mount Rob built:

Added these cool stickers:

I also mounted the sway bar drop brackets and sway bar:

I am not happy with the way the sway bar is. With out it the jeep is hard to drive, with it hangs way down.

So either spend some dollars to fix it or just make it a trail rig. I need a daily driver. On that note I found a 2002 Grand. It has the 4.7 motor and AWD transfer case. 200k miles behind a motor home(do they register?). Asking price is 2200, I offered 1k, he went down to 1500. School me on this please.

If it's Chrysler and ends in .7...its going to have problems.

Ive had more 4.7s be junk then any of the others but yes you are correct. Just took a rust free 04 WJ limited w/123k to the auction on Thursday because of a junk 4.7.
