why?

I have done fine without one. My generation is too in depth with that junk. People are shocked when i tell them i just bought my first TV at 28 yrs old.

I would ditch the cell phone if it wasn't for the family.

Mainly use it for messaging and groups, plus keeping touch with family in mexico(hate whatsapp).

Its a horrible habit to have, looking at your phone every 5 minutes. I personally wouldnt mind going back to flip phones and leaving social media at home, but majority of times if i call a friend they hang up and text "hey whats up" instead of answering the damn phone. Pisses me off but i guess ive conformed
 
Im all for texting, sometimes its easier then a phone call for both friends/family and work. Sonetimes its nice getting pics of a car on repo or at auction or at one of the 3 shops i deal with to decide if its worth fixing or not. I look up parts on my phone, buy sell and trade and Internet for fun. Flip phones where the easy life but glad i have my smart phone. I can say i never lost a deal due to Not having FB, but FB is the #1 way we find our repos.

Maybe I am an asshole, but the hilarity of someone posting a "hittin da club" status tagging their location and you guys grabbing the car is awfully funny to me today.

Until I was in the hospital I was in the I hate smart phones group. UW Hospital has a net nanny, that blocked a lot of sites I use, including all gun sites and NAXJA. When it does let the site through, it's fairly slow.

Took a few days off to work on the lake house, really got started on the demo last night and man is there a lot of amateur work in this place. I was able to scrape up the ceramic tiles off the bathroom floor in about 10 minutes bc they used some type of glue n not mortar......and this is just the beginning.
