get to fire a guy today that has been doing the bare minimum to keep his job, pointed out because he got in a wreck, guess his dumb ass shouldn't have used the snooze button for every single other occurrence.
 
Nerd friends...have a surfboard sb6141 cable modem that has been 100% flawless in operation for 3 years...hook it up to Mediacom cable in my apartment and no go...cable company comes out and their modem works fine. Its a firmware issue no doubt and they don't seem to want to admit that. Looks like the firmware they use is a previous version and when it was on my time Warner connection it was upgraded to the latest. How do I get them to set it up so it works...they clearly want me to rent theirs but I would rather just go buy another one...or use the one that has worked amazingly well for the last 3 years.

Are the DOCIS versions on the modems the same? Did they remove the MAC address from their side so your modem could work? Really shouldn't matter but if you switch providers or they do a massive upgrade, your equipment could become obsolete and you need to buy a newer modem. Cable modems are stupid cheap and after less than six months, you've paid more on a lease than you would if you just bought one new.
 
Are any of the MWC faithful Warn parts dealers? Or any of the NAXJA sponsors. I'm looking for a gear side seal kit for a Tabor 8k, which seems to be almost identical to the M8000.
 
At home on light duty. Got messed up nerves in my right hip, Dr decides to pump all the steroids in my hip this time instead of only a little like last time. Walking with a cain is fun.

Is anyone near the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway that just reopened in May?

Lots of BRC praise for those guys working hard to reopen that trail system. I want to go.

Yes and the router is on their list of acceptable hardware. From digging it appears the firmware on it seems to be newer than the firmware version they are on...
 
I think if I had to pick, I'd pick the gladiator front end over the XJ one.
