Wish it would stop raining here, I am getting tired of mowing my lawn every five days. It is so humid that even at 2pm parts of my lawn is too wet to mow.

I can't buy enough grass and weed killer.

mac 'wish it was all concrete' gyvr

You said it was going to rain everyday for 10 days and I told you to stop whining because I live in a town where it rains every damn day all summer, then it goes back to being 98 degrees with 96% humidity.

Sorry I didn't put a smiley in there to help you wash the sand out of your vagina.

Use this one :)

I couldn't live in the south...i've been there in the summer and thought I was going to die. I have no idea how the hell people survive down there.

NOLA in August is flat out terrible, was there on a mission trip in 2010. I normally wouldn't have went in August, but the organization I volunteered with was pulling out from rebuilding homes not too long after I went. Every day I was working, it looked like rain but never did. Finally, the last day it did and when it wasn't lightning out, I was out standing in it enjoying it.

After enjoying 100+ degree dry heat in AZ and Moab, spent the last few days here building a deck in 90+ , high humidity heat. Managed to last 8.5 hours yesterday, we were too wiped out to even have a beer afterwards, just wanted to get in the air-conditioned vehicles. And this morning at 7:30 it was 80 degrees and about 98% humidity, when it started raining it actually felt less humid.

So our plan is to move to AZ, and spend July and August in Hawaii and Colorado.

Beer and pizza with work at 6 AM, should be a fun day.

Small plane crashed few hours ago about half a mile south of my shop. All 3 people lived but plane is burnt crispy wreckage. For those that do not know my shop is about 2ish miles from Des Moines International Airport, and under one of the landing paths. Sucked when the fighter jets where still stationed here now its just drone control base for the Air Force

Got a phone interview with a compressor company for a service tech job on Monday. I'm liking this current job as I get better at it each day but that night shift life is still tough on me and my family.
I'm assuming this job would be a typical work week with some on call type stuff.
Big question is hourly pay. I've gotten pretty comfortable making what I'm making here. May drop a little bit for a 8hr day job but not much.
We shall see.
