Does anyone know anything about WOHVA in Fon Du Lac, WI? Never been, never heard of it, a friend of my dad's was telling me about it last week. I was looking through their website, but it doesn't really have much to offer.

There is a place up there that WOHVA has been working to get open.

I'm not sure the status of it, I know there was a guy on here that was posting about it from time to time.

wife likes the "clean" 98 gmc. i don't like that's its 2wd when there is a 4wd chevy with less miles for the same price. but the 4wd is probably not showing a bunch of rust.

looking for thoughts, comments, opinions, and votes on the 5 links i posted:confused1

im kinda digging the blue 98 chevy 4wd

i honestly never thought that a fireplace would be something that i would really like having in a house because i had never had one before, and i thought it would be a pain in the ass.

well...it is kind of a pain in the ass, but i really do love it. need to chop even more wood this summer for it. i also need to invest in either a firebox/blower system with a sleeved chimney or a hearth with a blower in it. you lose a lot of heat at first through the chimney, but once the chimney warms up, they whole house is toasty. anyone here have a fireplace insert? i really know nothing about them, but i've read it makes a big difference.

They are a huge pain in the ass. I burned nothing but scrap wood and it still was a ton of work
I had one of those inserts where it was a hollow hearth and had a blower that sent air through it and then into the room. It would get my little 12x15 living room hot in just an hour or so and at least get some heat into the other rooms on that floor. But in the house we have now, the insurance company wants nearly $800 in increases for any solid fuel burner. I will barely pay that much in natural gas this winter, so burning wood is a net loss at this point.

Spent $1165 buying my brothers plane ticket for him to fly home from South Korea, in two weeks so we can drive to NY to see my grandfather, if he lives that long. Otherwise we are going to a memorial service.

He's supposed to pay me back.
