Important

I hate changing alternators.

Congrats Ben and Suzi! Sleepless nights for the next 21 years, coming right up!

If she stays like she has been doing we will be fine. We actually got a couple hours sleep last night. But I know that could change

Take advantage of the nursery if you can at the hospital.

mac 'we did' gyvr

I ended up pulling the battery so I could gain better access to the alt, got the hose out and sprayed it down. It's charging now.

I had a feeling this was going to work, I had the jeep out in some mud a few weeks ago and that's when it quit.

Also got my Prime 4x4 military bat terminals installed that I won 2013.

When I did mine, I did that also.

Congrats Ben and Suzi, hopefully Ben has a shotgun for when she starts getting interested in boys. I been in the nursery all week with one year olds except yesterday at VBS this week. Tuesday and today had one fall asleep in my arms, when you can't move, you get to thinking happy thoughts about your own.

Woot...little girls are fun...well at least for now! Congrats you two.

Wf 2015 taught me that I can change an alternator in an auto zone parking lot in 15 minutes if its cold enough...that's what you get for having to do it 3 times in 3 months.

Byron, I put a plastic bag on my boot when I mowed the yard.

I'm off on light duty for another month at least. Doc want's me to do some more rehab before returning to full duty...the baby is due in just over a month.

The exhaust shop is putting the manifolds on the Ex. The owner/worker/onemanshow said that they suck. I told him that's why he's doing it and not me.

mac 'he said he's got another one after mine, and that guy is going to pay more' gyvr

Congrats Ben and suzi!

My daughter is currently rocking some sunglasses while dumping pool water all over her self.not really sure where her other shoe went.
Daddy's are great supervisors... ;)

This being out of work thing is interesting. On one hand, I'm loving the time I'm spending with my kid and finally having the time to pull my weight around the house so the wife is happy when she gets home.
on the other hand, the longer I go without a job the more I start thinking I may made some mistakes recently.
I have had 1 interview already but not sure how I feel as the guy did said there would be some traveling that could involve being gone 3 or 4 days at a time. Not a huge deal and I know people are away from their family for longer than that but I would think it's only worth it if the money is good.
I have submitted my resume to about 8 maintenance positions in the area, so fingers crossed there. My schools fb page posted some renewable jobs this morning so after the kid goes to bed I'll be checking those out.

Interesting times for sure. I have literally had a job everyday since I was 13 and washing dishes at a local restaurant. Now, I just sit here and make my wife dinner.

I believe in fate. I had plenty of twists in my career that caused me to end up where I am now. I didn't understand it then, but I'm glad it happened the way it did.

The next interview you have may be the last one you have until you retire. Keep knocking on doors and one of them will open up.

^true I almost moved twice w my previous company and they dicked me over both times on raises.....14 years of service and I am no longer with them.

Having a great time now making more money, how long it lasts we shall see.
