Important

Having a hell of a time trying to find a way to mount my reservoir for my hydro assist in my toyota. Keeping the hose short and above the pump seems impossible if you want any capacity at all.

It's up to you. You can either put it together with out replacing it and hope it doesn't leak or put them in. If if leaks you have to tear it down again .

Axle seals are a pain to install. On the SD we use a 6' long dowel rod with a bolt welded on the end. We shim washers up in the bolt to the seal size the stick the bar through the axle and have someone line up the seal and someone hammed the dowel.

Yes I've done the seals in my jeep and it sucked.

I did my d30s a year ago, but the axle was out of the jeep and it was 'mildly' easy. It also got new carrier, gears, bearings, etc at the same time...

I just got done with doing both seals on the F250. What a #### job that is with the axle in the vehicle. I totally destroyed that plastic shaft guide on the passenger side as well, hopefully that isn't overly important... I had to use a ratchet strap to get my carrier out, so that is currently in my mini freeze on high setting and will finish the job in the morning...

Headed out the door right now, cleaning up the house to have people come look at it....

You guys are talking about the actual axle seal on the inside? I assumed you meant the outer dust gaurd deal. I've seem numerous people on the interwebs get their panties in a bunch about these being broken or missing.

any health insurance gurus out there...i'm of the 90 day probation and eligible for insurance at work and trying to pick. i have 2 plans to choose from.

plan 1 has a $3000 deductible $10,000 out of pocket max but everything has a fixed co-pay after the deductible and the copays are very reasonable.

plan 2 has an $8000 deductible and a $12,900 out of pocket max. most things are 20% co-insurance out of pocket after deductible. The premium is $30 less per month and the dr network is larger.

the kicker is that no matter what plan i chose, i get an HRA debit card for the full amount of the deductible...so no matter what you can pretty much ignore the deductible amount. what are the odds that i would hit $8000 in a normal year for medical expenses? if i do, the amount out of pocket is more, but the gap between the out of pocket max is smaller... leaning towards 2 since we arent planning for another kid yet.

If they pay your deductible I would go with the cheaper plan . But still take into consideration the difference in deductible and max out of pocket....

That's pretty awesome if they are going to give you that much in an hra

I can't remember with all you young guys shooting babies out right and left. Got kids already? Expecting them? With kids in the picture always expect to hit your deductible. My twins each had hospital bills approaching 1m before they even came home the first time. Are your doctors on either network? It can be tough to find good ones that are accepting new patients in some networks.

We have one kid and don't plan on another this year. Our docs are all in both networks but if we want to see a specalist in Erie (30 miles away) only plan 2 would include them. I think our total medical expenses last year were way lower than $8000, which is why I'm hoping that plan will work. If it stays under 8k, we pay nothing out of pocket

Insurance isn't for today...its for when you and the family run down that bus load of nuns and end up needing surgery. Always pick the plan with more coverage when you have a family...

Sold the 50" smash hole light bar to a guy at work. he has a couple f250's and is a big diesel guy, so he was all over it when i brought it to work.

i ordered up a front lock right. because my younger brother tagged me in this pic.

then saw BrianHo selling the 13" light bar and i had a gift card from when i bought my tires before WF so i snagged that up. to get the best of both worlds.

good week for my Jeep.

I just programmed 100 channels into my Chinese radio in 10 seconds from a downloaded frequency list so it works with FRS, marine and Wx channels.

Pretty stoked about that.

Red 'geeked out' heep

Where can one find these to download? Wx is nice for camping in KY, no service at our farm.

is the lnk he sent me last night.

That's pretty damned slick that the CHIRP will take a CSV file.

As cheap as they are, it's not even worth buying FRS radios. I think I'll have ot get more than one of them.
Josh is sending me one like his because he's awesome, so I want to play with it.

there be that. Some scrap wood and 2 hours of time and it's a fully self contained FPV deck with a pan mount for the camera.
