All this talk of snowmobiles.....I think I've seen one in person in my life and it was sitting behind a barn with a bunch of random crap. Not A common thing in southern Indiana.

Yeah I always thought it was a waste of money when I lived in Iowa. The average yearly snowfall is about 35 inches in most places in iowa. Here in WNY its right around 100". Because of lake effect snow it can start snowing as early as the beginning of October all the way through April. North of here in the hills it snows even more. Hell, its snowed the last three days all day...its not coming down fast, but we've probably gotten 4" combined out of it. I actually like the snow, but because of it the road salt use here is just awful.
speaking of which, i probably need to knock the snow of the manche today. i knocked 18" off of it last week and there is probably that much on it again. the sunroof leaks, so if i don't knock it off before it melts the seat gets really wet
Great, over looked tire! I'd love to put a set on the new 2dr but my STs still have 3/4 tread left.

My next tires will either be ko2's, duratracs or stt's...i see a lot of people running stt's here, but i would be curious how they actually do in the snow

They are discontinuing the 10.5 KM2 so I looked into my 12.5 options. KM2's have went up in price a lot for whatever reason so I wasn't about to pay $1000+ shipping for tires. Andy(vt98xj) has been running then for a while and said he loves them. $830 shipped was as cheap as I could find besides the mastercraft courser mxt which looks like a good tire and is made by Cooper. Also, they would have been here today if my roommate would have woke up to answer the door and sign for them. They didn't tell me I needed to be here for that.
