I carry 1500 bucks in tools with me when I go wheeling, but really only spare axleshafts, driveshafts, and sometimes a set of balljoints. Oh, and a tire.

And I think there are a couple driveshaft ujoints, a spare 8.25 yoke, and a set of straps + appropriate tap in the center console. Not sure.

The barn on the right is the one that's getting redone.
Insulation, new 200a wiring, new 2nd floor/1st floor ceiling, putting in stairs, redo bathroom, tear down and redo walls, etc. Sounds like they're Pretty much stripping the whole interior and turning it into a good business building. Should be nice.
He said the old breaker box had a pile of burnt insulation on it and the wall had scorch marks/soot streaks.
Not good.

Most of the consumable parts that wear (wheels, guides, etc) are made cheaper, like plastic instead of metal and things like that. If you look on weldingweb, you'll see some threads where people talk about the difference. the big box store welders are ok, mine is 5 years old, but there are diferences if you plan on using it a bunch.

I have no welding shop here, so I didn't have anywhere to go.
 
I think this weekend will be a good weekend to make some apple pie for WF. I think I'm only bringing two gallons this year to pass around the fire.

I need to learn how to make peach and make that for the crawl.
 
I have a century 145 (220V) that my dad bought 25 years ago at Sams club.

Only thing I've replaced on it is the wand and tips from time to time.

I have a little 110 century that has been great for minor fab and sheet metal work, I bought a Hobart Handler 185 (I think that is the right number) from a farm supply store, it has held up great with zero problems, and we have the old trusty copper wound Lincoln red box.....it is older than me by about 15 year I would assume, and still burns hotter than the night after a one night stand with Wheeler.......we have been looking at either a Miller bobcat or something similar to put on our service trailer so that we have a generator/welder combo and the ease of being able to move it over to a truck etc if needed.

Well, I hurt my back at work last week. Initially, I didn't think much about it because my job is very labor intensive and a sore back is normal. As the weekend went on it worsened. I called off work yesterday and had a doc appointment this morning. I have severe muscle spasms and was put off work for the week. They gave me some muscle relaxers, and a couple prescription pain killers. I have another appointment Friday.

This timing sucks, I have a handful of things I need to finish on the Jeep, and there is the possibility I may not be better by Winterfest. IF I am not feeling 100% come next week, my plan is to attend without my jeep. At the moment, I could not even strap my Jeep to the trailer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
