once you leave the hotel room, the quality of the environment drops dramaticly.

so are you gonna come back smelling of curry?

Haven’t had too much curry (I don't think), but the food is pretty spicy.
The people are not in a hurry to work.....or do anything for that matter.

And you are doing what there?

Sorry if I missed it.

I didn't say. We are setting up facility to service the asian / europe markets. Its cheaper to make stuff here ans ship to asia/europe, than it is to make it in the us. Surprisingly enough the prices are the same to manufacture but shipping/delivery time is the savings.

I am training (trying to train) the engineering staff. They gave me 3 engineers to train but they are "slower" than I expected and it as taking a whie to sink in.

Bummer.

Engineers are the slowest thinkers sometimes.....are they just as odd over there as they are here?

Rev

I am not sure they have any qualifications over here to be called engineers, you make the call.

well, got my 8.8 last night.
Looks to be in good shape, need to get a passenger side brakeline for the drivers side since ford used that wierdo junction block.

Came with all the brake hardware/calipers. Gonna need new rotors and pads, e-brake levers aren't seized, calipers appear to be in good shape.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it for $150.

Nate, with the 8.8, I would invest in a good diff guard.
you'll notice the diff cover is paper thin.

Nate you get an 8.8, I get a 2001 model c8.25 with 39,000 miles and all hardware for $145.00. I would of put in another 8.8 but there are different plans for the black jeep.
The axle install only took a couple of hours by myself yesterday and this morning already have installed a new fuel filter, positive cable, and two Super Swamper SSR's in the rear. I had two TSL's almost bald so I picked up these two tires for a whopping $20.00.
They are not the greatest but have decent tread left on them. Well, time to load up the trailer and go and test everything out:D

yep, it's sitting in the driveway.
I went 8.8 because it's strong, and they have lots of 3.73 geared ones, so it matches the front.
All I've got to do are weld some perches on it, replace the rotors and pads and bolt it under there.

I peeled the lip of mine up a bit dragging it on a rock on my first run. drained a quart of diff fluid out on the way home.

When I installed the 8.8 on my 85 it also had 3.73 gears. Don't forget to weld the tubes at the diff. For the few times I have had a chance to wheel it the 8.8 has not given me any complaints.

yeah, I'm gonna put a few nasty boogery beads on the tubes.
just finished robbing the dryers old 220V circuit and relocating it to the garage.
