Good morning jeep fans!





My work load just keeps getting bigger. talked to the body shop manager yesterday, he said we are at least 3 maybe 4 weeks behind right now.(meaning we are scheduling cars for repair for next month) sucks for the folks out there crashing their cars having to wait 3 weeks just to start.
for a comparison, during normal weather, we are maybe a half week behind and can usually get a damn near total out of here and in a customers hands in about a week.
small jobs like mirrors, moldings, nameplates shit like that we would do same day, now they are at the bottom of the list half the time. they are trying to get several a day in on Fridays but that's about it.

It's nice to be busy in this economy. Where I am we are so swamped it's disgusting. We have orders for almost half of last year's business all in the first quarter. I keep telling myself all of the OT is a good thing, but damn..

yea its nice getting the day knocked out fast. my pay does not change so i am working harder for the same money but its all good.

the only part i don't really like about it is the fact that it has a tendency to fry my brain a bit and when i leave i and mentally exhausted. not an issue except school just started back up and this semester i took on a couple classes that i knew would be difficult. several fellow students told me these classes had a heavy work load and 2 weeks in im starting to fall behind.

that part sucks. so im catching up on school work on my lunch breaks which is fine except that causes me to have no chillax time. so woa is me. i will figure it out

In other news, we were supposed to close on both houses this week. Now our buyers' bank is saying it will be next week because they forgot a piece of paper. Idiots. We have only been waiting since November, they have had plenty of time to get their chit together.

Problem 1 is money
Problem 2 is that a friend of mine (ironically, from the MWC... Minnesota) is in town that same weekend and I am NOT missing that.
Problem 3 is my pile is nowhere near ready to make the drive, I sold my tow rig to the scrapyard, and the trailer needs new wheel bearings and probably a tire. And its registration expired in 2012.

still no word from jc whitney or autoparts warehouse. i'm gonna say its a no go from both places. i'll hold out a little hope until i get the out of stock notices it seems most are getting, but it sounds like a couple people who ordered on monday got lucky and have tracking info that shows them in transit...anyone else get any updates?

i'll bet their email and call center has been blowing up the last 48 hours!

My order status now says unable to fill order. It also says contact customer service, which I did, and the lady I talked to said that this part is usually one to two day shipping and they are looking for the closest warehouse to me. I think she doesn't know what she's talking about. But I am still hoping
