Important

Re: Re: Important

Well with what everybody has said today it sounds like around 3 pucks is the magical number.

i have 3 on 6"ish lift and 35's and I barely hit my fenders at full lock and bump. Isn't your whole quarter panel smashed on that jeep anyway?

k "chicks dig body damage" man

Actually I got some of that quarter panel pulled back out this weekend.

rubbin's racin'... I don't even have stock bumpstops in the front, they're shredded so bad they do nothing. 33s on 4" of lift, haven't adjusted the steering stops, folded the pinch weld on the inner fender over, cut the fenders till they cleared, and called it a day. I don't believe in limiting uptravel unless it's to prevent the axle from bumping uglies with the oil pan :gee:

I have a set of brand new front bumpstops for it but as usual I forgot to install them before going wheeling yesterday. Still hit 65mph on a narrow dirt road, still gave the remains of the bumpstops and shocks some hard loving, still drives just as well as it ever did.

I got my harbor freight 110 for 20 bucks with a new spool of wire.

So there is just something about sweet tea down south. So the wife found a recipe on pinterest and it is off the chain and the hook!!!!

Just added some JD honey to it and it is a awesome way to top off a few beers. Gonna sleep like a baby tonight!!!!

Any ody ever use century welders? Buddy offered up his, 110 volt gas or gasless. Comes with tank and cart for $200.

I looked up a comparable new model and its $450

I probably have the same one, it does okay. I have not had any problems with it. I have had it for a couple years thru a bunch of different big projects.

I have one in the shop that is the 110 and I never got the gas kit for it. It was OK with FC wire but did not penetrate enough for what I was wanting (heard that from the ladys before too :D) so I bought the Hobart and have never looked back. I keep the little 110 for sheet metal work or small spot welds.

For real penetration I revert to the good ol' Lincoln redbox....it is the old one that is copper wound.
