Your membership automatically extends no matter when you renew.
 
It was a $40 fryer to start (-10 sale, -10 rebate).
 
The burners for the fryers are pretty much nothing more than a metal frame and a burner assembly.

The burner assembly for my cheapy $30 fryer was the same as my dad's $100 fryer. The difference was that his was heavy duty cast steel. Mine was cheesy stamped steel.

His kettle was about 30 qts. stainless, mine was much smaller and cheapy stainless.

I love deep frying turkey. I have a turkey fryer. Buying $40 worth of oil to do a turkey sucks.

I still can't believe that menards ad. My ma must've dumped my twin brother at birth.

I work in the media and I am essential personnel. I could take it off and not have to use a vacation day, but I don't. I had Thanksgiving dinner with friends on Saturday. I went to the store today to get groceries because I know it will be chaos tomorrow and I am heading to Washington, IL on Saturday. I did go to Rural King and picked up a spinning .22 metal target.

Dad and I did have dinner at a restaurant for lunch.

Cooking food on thanksgiving Christmas eve and Christmas this year..... I hate anyone who goes out to eat on thanksgiving or Christmas Day. I try not to even go to the gas station on those days, if I patronize any business it means some employee isn't enjoying a deserved day of whatever the hell they want to do with it.

Sadly I'll be working Christmas Day... It will be a cold day in hell when our owner lets us close on thanksgiving and Christmas

I don't mind working on Holidays that happen on week days. 99% of the time my family and friends do holidays on weekends.

Don't worry I did yesterday :-)


Filling out a few more next week. It's not the working on the holidays that bothers me that much, I worked out my schedule over a month ago for it. no overtime or holiday pay brigs the suck. Missing out on the family would be a little easier for time and a half
