Important

I think a 'controlled' BoD is kind of ridiculous... So there may be multiple members from one chapter all on the national board, to me, that looks like that particular chapter is functioning as it should to provide such quality members that are devoted to making the entire club as good as their local chapter. This I think, is yet another example of the MWC raising the bar on club participation and dedication.

those things would have been much better looking if GM hadn't stuck all that plastic on it.

but who am I to say anything about ugly tow rigs.

Agreed, I prefer the later models with less cladding. Price was much better on this one though. Come springtime the faded grey will get Krylon Fusion'ed black.

I'm not sold on the weird looking brushguard, but GM's phenomenal design team made it so you had to cut up the bumper to install it. It will stay until I find a donor bumper cover.

Level the front, slightly aggressive tires and it will look 100x better. Hate the factory rake.

Is there metal under the plastic? Or is it nasty and you need the plastic?

good luck pulling all that plastic off to paint it.

better find a cheap source for all the clips you break BEFORE you take it apart. i've played that game with GM plastic before on an Aztek. Body clips for the plastic panels were nearly $5 a pop from the dealer, but when you need them on a saturday morning to put the car back together....

thanks for the complements on the new jeep guys. wife drove it home from work today and she loved it, maybe a little to much. it will more than likely be her new ride, mostly because i don't want her and my future baby in that shitty Saturn anymore.

so on that note i may not put the 2incher on there but still dont know yet, anyone got any pics with a 2inch bb lift?

Don't sell yourself short.....at this point i think its more sensible leadership than experience. You care a lot about the club and the lifestyle as a whole and I have faith that any leadership position you have will reflect that.

Thanks Doug, If I am elected I will do my best to help keep things running smoothly.

Flex I agree with Dan and Doug. You got my vote and I'm sure the eor guys will vote your way too

Thanks Dude!

you have my vote aaron...i could care less about a mwc controlled bod, i don't talk to anyone else on this forum other than the mwc guys. sometimes i forget there are other parts and chapters to this site

I appreciate it, Craig!

upcountry with extended shackles and 1" spacers.
245/75/R16s, biggest size you'll fit a full size spare into the stock location.

Metal, but with holes for the clips.

Blue painters tape will be my friend :D

Apparently there was a "WBH" option starting in '03 on the avalanches. Without body hardware. Chevy would build it with a silverado front and delete all the side panels.

The best part? The credited you $750 on the price of the vehicle.

No wonder that stupid company is bankrupt again.

Byron, Brad said something about boiled linseed oil (from Menards, Lowes, etc.) to make plastic cladding look good again. Congrats on the new truck!

BLO is designed for wood, it may work for that plastic, but there's probably better options.

If you're using BLO on anything, be mindful of the way you get rid of your rags. It will spontaneously ignite. Trust me.

you want to be VERY careful when handling boiled linseed oil and the rags you are using. It will spontaneously combust.....
