July/August issue of Outdoor Indiana magazine has a familiar XJ on the cover:

Features a good article on Redbird and Interlake. My 01 has a full page pic on page 28 if you can get hands on a copy. I just happened across a copy at the library, made my day. Those pics were taken back in 2010.

When Fat Tire started being distributed in Indiana in 2009 I had someone tell me this also. I will say that I have not done much more research on it since then, but this is what my reply was then on the subject,

"Based on comments posted this afternoon, I have done some research tonight trying to directly tie the New Belgium Brewery to the Sierra Club. I can't tie them directly too each other. Only this, the brewery is a "green" brewery. Meaning that they do a lot of recycling and other things that make them better for the environment. The Sierra Club supports New Belgium Brewery for their efforts (along with other breweries) to recycle and conserve energy. I can't find anywhere where the brewery directly gives money or has any endorsement to the Sierra Club.

And actually some of the Colorado Sierra Club members have been negative towards New Belgium for broadening their distribution of Fat Tire into other states, they think that it should only be distributed close to home.

If there is a link to show where they directly support Sierra club I would be more than happy to read it and not buy Fat Tire again.

I'm a wheeler, I love to wheel, especially out west, everyone just has to be on their toes on who supports what, cause I'm sure that everything that we, buy, drink, eat, in one way or another supports something, someone, or some policy that we don't agree with."

I have yet to see anything other that folks saying that they support the Sierra Club. No links or articles. I did search Pirate tonight and didn't find anything solid either.

So please, someone show me the link to where they support the Sierra Club...and like I said before, there is bound to be something that we spend money on that supports something that we don't support.

I was recalling incorrectly. On further research, it appears that New Belgium no longer supports the Sierra Club, but they did before.

The one I had confused with them was Sierra Nevada, who do currently support them. I think it was a SoCal thread I was reading, and one of those guys took the time to email them asking if they supported the Sierra Club, and if they would like to support the BRC. The evasive reply did not deny supporting the Sierra Club, and said they could only support so many causes...

This list is not totally current, but it doesn't surprise me to see all these major national corporations listed.

Common folk with no ties to the bad stuff the Sierra Club does would have no problem supporting them.

I mean everyone wants a greener planet right? The larger coorperations are always under the gun from the big enviro groups. It's in their best interest to support them for no other reason than to get them off their back.

This is THE number one main reason I will never own a Ford. Back when they were building the excursion and their over all mpg ratings were in the toilet they were giving millions and millions to these groups to keep them from screaming.

Dan, I'm gonna suggest that you see if you can find stuff from Short's Brewing (Bellaire, MI.) Good folks, opened up in the old hardware store where I grew up.

Sweet, now I can actually shop at REI.

I am sure you can find it on a google search.
Found it. It's harder to find than most things, actually. I usually give up on a google search after about 3 minutes.

Why, regardless of land use status, would one ever pay retail for stuff when there's always Amazon?

I grabbed a 12 pack of fat tire.

And a 1/5th of Jim Beam Red Stag Honey Tea...with a free sample...

i hate drama...why are people so crazy.

director is ready to quit and walk away from the show im working on...meaning no show. meaning a wasted trip to nyc...meaning angry me. i agree with his points, but not him screwing everyone else who is on the project. crap has gone wrong on both sides...however, i can safely say my work is ready to go and im ready to start rehearsal. nothing like ego's ruining what could be an easy show. i will get paid either way, but i don't like it when people think their only option is quitting and turning your backs on others

I see not the big deal with "Bottle Girl", no one seemed to be complaining during the show, she was not forced.

Terre Haute should be concerned with stopping the meth problem, finishing the road work on 41, policing downtown, and trying to keep the town relevant. Who cares is some chick wants to show off her skills.

I'm pretty sure the video was taken in a parking lot, so there's the whole public nudity and debauchery thing, but I tend to agree otherwise.

Right. That's because there wasn't anything really bad about it. Just indecent. She's being charged with the same charges we would receive for urinating in public.

I have a feeling it will get tossed out of court, though. The parking lot in which it was said to have taken place has their own security saying it didn't happen there. If they can't place the action to a definite location, how can it be certain it was public?

Boom: Lawyered.
