Ive not really had a heat problem. New tstat, W/P, 2 core radiator, fan clutch and a fan override. Runs right at 215.
My only fear with the hood vents it water on the distributor. I know many have ran them like that but its stil on my mind.
Anyone out there ever make a BBQ smoker out of a fuel oil barrel? Me and my GFs dad are thinking of making one.

Where the hood sits with the blocks makes me nervous. You run head first into something solid and that hood looks like it would come back and slice you in half final destination style.
With the new job starting soon and it being hot out my jeep is on hold until the fall. This fall though... 2x6 rockers, possible frame stiffeners, brake system, cowl hood w/ vents, and possible paint job. Mazda 2 green is in The Gimps future.

Made it to Harlan.
7.5 hours, 450+ miles, with one stop for food and fuel. Got 8.9 on that leg. Truck did good, only downshifted once on I75 (big hill coming out of cincy).
Nate is here with the wieners and the box...
He's helping me trying to figure out the sat dish on the trailer

Where is it leaking from. I have a brand new one I bought thinking mine was leaking but turned out to be something else. I think it was this one. Too lazy to go to the jeep to see what brand it is.

From the pump. On the 90 there are 2 different sizes.....so when I get a chance, and it cools off, the old one will come off and off to Vatozone I go.

I walked out of the parts store today after getting new front shocks for the MJ to find the XJ dribbling coolant from the lower hose... looks like the hose, not the WP, fortunately.
Damn jeeps are gonna take every cent I have. I figured it'd be sated after getting a new engine and full exhaust system out of me, but no, it wanted more...
