From the, "you only live once files"

Most of you probably remember the 50 ft 2005 haulmark that I bought. It was empty inside, open from tip to tail. I decided that I didn't want to build living quarters and finish the trailer out. I just plain don't have time. So I sold it.

Today I brought this home. Its a finished out 2005 Vintage Outlaw RVT 48ft. I got it for a good price and couldn't have finished the other trailer out for how much extra this one cost me. Its got the goods. It will only haul one rig and a side by side and golf cart unless you rip some cabinets out...but the weight is going to be an issue. Its 20 ft living quarters (8 in the goose), and 28 in the garage, with 20 open space. Its got the extra height of clearance, from the floor to bottom of the lights is over 7ft! Three big 8 lug axles and electric jacks!!!

Empty. My truck is rated for 27k gross. I have 7k, with a rig we will be right there.

Needs a couple trailer tires and some other little things.
Sorry for the crappy pics, I need an adapter to plug the 50 amp cord in my house so I can turn on more than 12 volts.

Looks nice, Mac. As long as you've got a place to park it.

Managed to tweak my lower back last night, so I'm moving a little slow this weekend.

Went yard hopping today. Found a new place in Russell, IA and bought a new 1-ton rear that will work w/ my D60 and found 2 of the ever elusive fuel tanks for my chore truck Nissans..I told him I would take both of them since they are so hard to find. Yard had 4-5 manches, about 15-20 XJ's, a few FSJ's and a ton of trucks...covered a good 30-40 acres I would guess. Hit the new pick-n-pull in Des Moines and some asshole stole the receiver out of my truck....what is even more stupid is that it was a blank receiver and I had 3 others in the bed of the truck that were good drop units, hitch pins, straps and TJ had his new Craftsman 300 piece tool kit back there....stupid ass theif.

Cheese "was a good day all in all" Man

ugh...this stupid event was supposed to be over at 9pm and its still going. i have 3 hours worth of driving after tearing out all of this gear...to make matters worse they didn't feed me and ive been working since 1pm with no breaks. even if i didn't im not sure there is anywhere to grab food around here. seriously pissed right now

My rig is almost ready, K5 Matt's K5 is locked now, Brad's tow pig is running and they even had time to work on Marcus's truck and Neal's tdi. Now Brad needs parts for his XJ, and he'll be ready.

I went wheeling today. Zero problems.

Considering more and more that maybe I should cancel my flight out, hack the MJ together, and drive out, then run tame trails. I'd keep the flight back as insurance in case I had to part out or sell the MJ as a result...

Dooo it. Nobody is going to say anything if you run Green. I ran the easy trails two years ago in my highly modded XJ just because.

Green friday and Rev's run Saturday, you'll have a good time and possibly dent the truck......

hmmmmmmmmm...

Next weekend (or midweek, if I quit early, which is a strong possibility after last week...) I'll have to take stock of what it needs to stay together. I'll hopefully have all my spare parts lined up by then, if I do, no excuses.

Possibly denting the truck is not a big deal to me. I did this by accident today (forgot the stump was there, tried to make a sharp turn) and didn't really care.

Well, Ken, that's why we build them. Well, most of us anyway.

I figured talk of Body damage would entice you to come, i know you aren't scared of it! :D
