Important

Like ForeWheeler said, I think you should have gotten the factory hardware and nutstrips with your hitch for $60 from the junkyard. That's your easy route; clean the bolts up with a wire brush, chase the threads, put anti-seize on all bolts, slap it together, sell the JCR strips and hardware.

COWBOY WHISPERER

Cowboy: "That your dog?"
Indian: "Yep."
Cowboy: "Mind if I speak to him?"
Indian: "Dog no talk."
Cowboy: "Hey dog, how's it going?"
Dog: "Doin' all right."
Indian: (Look of shock!)
Cowboy: "Is this Indian your owner?" (Pointing at the Indian...)
Dog: "Yep."
Cowboy: "How's he treating you?"
Dog: "Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food
and takes me to the lake once a week to play."
Indian: (Look of total disbelief)
Cowboy: "Mind if I talk to your horse?"
Indian: "Horse no talk."
Cowboy: "Hey horse, how's it going?"
Horse: "Cool."
Indian: (Extreme look of shock!)
Cowboy: "Is this your owner?" (Pointing to the Indian...)
Horse: "Yep."
Cowboy: "How's he treating you?"
Horse: "Pretty good, thanks for asking, he rides me, brushes me down
often and keeps me in a lean-to to protect me from the weather."
Indian: (Look of total amazement)
Cowboy: "Mind if I talk to your sheep?"
Indian: "Sheep lie."

Cowboy: "Them your velcro gloves and big rubber boots?"
Indian: "Belong to friend."

Spent some good money today. Got myself a nice newtome hunting rifle. Remington 700 chambered in .243 with optics, a sling and case for under 5 bills. Also picked up a Ruger .380 LCP. Pretty stoked for my newly acquired weaponry. Slowly stocking up for the apocalypse. I only wish I could stock up faster.

Guess who's having fun this weekend? :D

looks like an aftermarket bull barrel and some decent optics..... whats done to it internally?

i put the volquartsen extractor (hers jams once every 3-500 rounds) the auto bolt release (must have mod) and the extended mag release for my fat fingers. also ordered a 50 dollar cheapo simmons scope as well... should be a good time. just a heads up they DO NOT like a ton of oil, just a very light coating on the internals and the bolt.

Short"ill be the one carrying the peashooter in the ZA"xjdoug

Think at the end of next month, I am going to see if I can grow a descent beard. I got 10 days I don't have to work (two weekends, one friday and one whole week). Plus with a beard and mustache trimmer, I can trim it better now.

I'll look into the extractor. I also want to do the mag release and auto release. Thanks for the tip on the oil too. It is one of the older ones with a metal trigger group so thats a plus.

Speaking of guns, I only owe 200 on my P22 now. After I get that, will start saving up for something to carry (maybe a glock 40 or 9).

midwayusa.com has a ton of parts for it..... the upgraded extractor was like 9 bucks. Some people say the stock one works fine but it has been shown to wear down or chip over time, and if youre like me you buy one to put metric ton of rounds through it. including the scope i only threw about 80 bucks at it

im pretty sure hers is an older one too.... all metal trigger group and the newest ones have a tab style mag release from ruger

I got to tour the makers mark distillery a couple years ago. It was one of the favorite parts of the trip. Seeing 8 vats that were 15' across and 12' tall full of sweet and sour mash. The alcohol smell smacks you in the face as soon as you walk in the doors. I even got to see the first bottles of MM57 getting boxed up.

All the employees were very happy go lucky... go figure.

Parakeet

Oh yeah I hate my job... That is all.

you just put your # on the interweb....you are now going to be getting deep breathing calls from Jeepers :D.....ok, well ast least from me
in the NAC we always drunk dial the not-present members from the campfire at NACFest and Rocktoberfest. It's some pretty good fun.

I'm gonna need new tires for my truck before too long...just can't decide which ones I want. We've discussed it before...maybe once this trailer thing is worked out I can finally decide.

I hate buying tires.

mac 'new to me trailer will need tires too' gyvr
Flex and I will probably tell you the same thing :D

My Dodge had GY Wrangle RT/S tires on it when I bought it, and I actually got rid of them with 80% tread left. Yes, they really were that bad.

I went through a set of Michelin LTX M/S tires. Great tires, just rather expensive.

Then I went through BFG ATs and couldn't keep them round. And a couple of sets of GY Wrangler Silent Armors, which I really do like, but I just can't get enough tread life out of them.

New Michelin LTX M/S IIs on the way. More expensive than the GY SAs, but should also be good for an extra 20% tread life, and that's more than the price delta.
Hate to be a party pooper but I had LTX M/S IIs on my 96 when I got it and they were crummy as hell, at least in the rain. They weren't bad otherwise. Maybe they'll be better with a bit more weight on them.

yay...home from casino sound gig at 2:30am...i am getting too old for this. back up at 7am tomorrow to finish snow goose hunting electronics and off to another show at noon to return at midnight...then drive through the night to nw missou or sw iowa to a snow goose field to immediately set up 800 snow goose decoys and said electronics. if im still alive on monday morning, i will hopefully be returning that night with enough goose meat to make a pile of jerky and sausage...for now zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
