I found that out before I bought one, once... luckily. I also read that if you have aftermarket arms with real joints in them, that might compensate for the difference in angle. Dunno how true that is.

If you're talking about heat bluing, try half a lemon sprinkled with salt.

Does that work on stainless? My grill lid has a blue spot from a grease fire in it.

Thanks now I'll be reading on teflon pans the rest of the night. Just bought a full set of T-fal pans a month ago. Cost 275 but she's been cooking every night since. Now I'll want to replace those again lol.

You don't need to throw out the non-stick pans. No high heat cooking in them, though, and no using them under the broiler. Hard to beat a good non-stick pan for cooking eggs (okay, a well seasoned cast iron pan is right there.)
