Important

12 yr old Chicago vehicle...yeah, no rust... I wouldn't bet on that aspect of it, but the rest looks good. Aside from 2wd and the gaudy wheels of course.

Made these today so my rear ride height would be adjustable.

brian i've never seen those used in suspension before.

also i missed the air shocks...

mac 'or coilovers' gyvr

Coils, $50
shocks I already had, free

Air shocks 600-800...............

I knew that would be your answer...

I also knew that you had talked about air shocks...

On another note, what's the thoughts on a dana 70 for a rear axle? The eaton is bent and I want something just as strong...14 bolts seem like boat anchors...

mac 'need new heims too' gyvr

Well, thats one way to do it! Looks like it'll work ok for a trail only rig like yours.

mac, I think a D70 is as much as a boat anchor as a 14 or a Sterling...but the damn Sterling has minimal aftermarket support (as I am quickly finding out unfortunatly). I am "supposed" to be scoring a set of SRW rear hubs for my Sterling this week and Collin is gonna get me the hook up on the new single wheel D60 front hubs since I have the DRW versions w/ spacers.

I think I've run my course with the eaton. Before the next trip to Moab I want a select-able locker in the rear. The eaton just doesn't have the aftermarket support. I can weld the 70 up and purchase a select-able when funds allow.

I like the dana line of axles, the D60 only starts with 30 spline and you have to drill it out to get to 35 splines where the d70 starts there...

mac 'the eaton is a good conversation piece tho' gyvr
