maybe I've been lucky, but even on my two horribly rusted turds they came right out. Probably because they leaked so much oil and trans fluid that the studs had been bathing in it for years... hard to seize under those conditions!
If I was at all afraid of one breaking off I would use a die grinder to cut slots in both sides of the nuts almost down into the threads and then chisel them in half rather than have them snap the stud. Then use a wire wheel in the dremel to clean the threads and apply liberal quantities of antiseize.

The one side came out by jammung two nuts together, the other needed heat and vise grips and pipe wrench.

today will be my last day of work for 2 straight weeks. i have never had a 2 week vaca before so should be fun. getting married on Saturday and leaving for a cabin in elk rapids MI monday morn. hoping for good weather and beautiful country.

Shorts Brewing has a facility there, you should be able to find it locally.

This one isn't all bad really. They both atleast came out. on my 01 they both snapped, even the upper shackle bolt came out fairly easy.
My,bigest bitch last night was drilling 2 holes in my frame that were to low for the uca mount for the rk arms. So now i have to "oblong" them tonight.

hoping so, the time of the wedding is really what put us in MI. figured it would be gorgeous up there 1st week of oct. had a really nice place picked out in drummond island MI, but decided it was to long of a drive seeing as tho we have a few things to get done about 9am monday morning
