Important

while junking out the F350 yesterday I popped the hood and forgot it had a new Edlebrock 1408 on it....but has been sitting for about 5 years in the fence row. I am pretty sure it is a big carb since truck has a 460 in it. It is dirty as hell, but I would think it would be worth something on CL or a swap shop maybe? I also pulled the radiator and drive shafts...nothing else worth much account.....it smells like mice and chemicals :(

Its a 600cfm, square bore. It's been out of production for quite a long time. Doesn't even show in their parts catalog anymore....

just bought myself a 2000 25hp mercury outboard to go with my new boat. motor is worth about $2000 in good condition, however its seized up and the guy sold it to me for $100...anyone here good with 2 stroke motors? my gut tells me its going to be a seized piston as the bearings in the cranks tend to last a long time on 2 strokes. gonna try to do my first outboard rebuild, if it goes well the money may go into funding craig's outboard repair shop....this should be interesting!

If everything pans out, Mark's Sub.

Sweet!

In other news, i think i made out good on this new Jeep, made sure the T-case worked properly and ran it down the interstate at 75. Does great and the motor is really strong for 192k miles.......and the Air works too! :D

New boss started today. It's a buddy of mine that I've worked for in the past and is an awesome guy to work for. Work is going to get a lot better. Better mood is more money when you are in sales. Now if my wife could get her 8 week long headache solved. I'm getting worn thin by it. Need to get out on a trail to destress, but gotta put some control arms on and gotta find a time to wrench on it where the misses feels up to watching the kids.

8 week long headache? DAYM!! That is a medical condition, not an excuse! :D Tell her to suck it up and that waterboarding is legal in your household! :D

Love the 94 for being one of the more trouble free Xj's. 96 has been a PITA at times. My 94 was beat like hell and still ran awesome. Too bad the body was rotting out on mine.

Getting a new company car...its ready for pick up...i'm headed out of town and can't pick it up until next week...

The 'old' one is a 2007 with 98k...I always thought I would turn 100k on this one.

sounds like your average miles per year are about like mine on my personal rigs....we crank out @ 23K per year on the vehicles. Her 2009 Malibu is about to roll 45K and the PSD I bought in January has already had an additional 22K on it and I have a lot more traveling to do this year!

Hey Mac....I know it is a looooooooong drive for you, but you interested in a SMORR trip in the next year by chance? I know you have seen the park and know it is sweet, but I can understand the distance thing.

Cheese "lovin wheeling in Southern MO" Man

Well, depending on KOH (if we get qualified or if there is going to be one close) we are talking about Moab next year for the local crew here (and anyone else that it would work out for), I'm still planning Moab in 2013 NAXJA. So I can't answer the SMORR question, I would love to tho.

The company car is about all I drive. The baby jeep gets 1k a year put on it or so, the buggy only trail miles, the f350 has had 2k put on it since April (tho another 400 these next two days)...

my trailers have as many miles on them as anything else around here.

she needs penisilin, it can be taken oraly or in the rear.

Tried it didn't work. Whats pissing me off is the neurologist is dragging his feet getting the required paper work to the insurance company so she still haven't had an MRI yet. 8 weeks of a constant headache and needless to say she's not being a trooper about it. :bawl:
